Technology is bringing the world closer, making more things available to us right in our homes. The area of spiritual and personal development is no exception. Many great teachers are now making some of their teaching and coaching easy for anyone to benefit from by doing teleseminars.
How do teleseminars work? First, you sign up to be able to participate. Then, you get a confirmation email with the call in number and a pin code. This email will also have a reminder of the date, time, and participants. When you call, do so a few minutes early. Most hosts will have a little casual discussion before the call. When the call begins, all lines except for the host and interviewer will be muted.

The Origins of Co=Creation CafeMelissa Quiter, a Texas-based Transition Coach with ProvocativeCommunications.com, and Nancy Barry-Jansson, a California-based Affirmations Expert and Well-Being Coach with AffirmingSpirit.com, are the co=hosts for Co=Creation Cafe. These two coaches became acquaintances through a spiritually oriented email list. To date, they have not met in person. (!)
Last year, when Nancy decided she wanted to do a regular recorded call, she began looking around for a coach to partner with. All the obvious coaching partners were not at a place where they wanted to do this kind of call. Then, she saw a post by Melissa on the email list and realized that since she always enjoyed her comments, Melissa would make an excellent call partner to bounce ideas around. Nancy called her up to pitch the idea, and Melissa wasn't interested at first since she is quite busy getting her Masters in Counseling Psychology. Then, they spent an hour blabbing, getting to know each other and, noticing the obvious synergistic chemistry, Melissa changed her mind! After that, the two worked via email and the internet to decide on the name, create the logo, blog, marketing and promotion, plan out and co=host the calls you hear today.
What is Co=Creation Cafe?
Co=Creation Cafe is a one-hour recorded conversation on a variety of metaphysical and "life" topics, hosted by deliberate creators Nancy Barry-Jansson and Melissa Quiter. The calls are designed to energize and inspire listeners as they get in touch with their own emotions and understand their role in co=creating their life. We then invite our listeners to visit the Co=Creation Cafe Blog to continue the conversation by sharing their thoughts, questions, and suggestions. We also post specific resources discussed during each call in the blog call announcement.

"In April of 2003 I registered with Eckhart Teachings to volunteer as a "silent group leader." I utilized the format recommended by Eckhart for facilitating silent groups: begin with 10-20 minutes of silence, listen to an hour of audio or watch an hour of video of Eckhart teaching, then end with another period of silence. This recommended format limits the level of talking, thus to limit the opportunity for ego to enter.
From April 2003 until October 2007, I facilitated silent groups on a bi-monthly basis. During this time I listened to or watched hundreds of hours of Eckhart giving talks, intensives or retreats. I also sat in silence/presence with others seekers for 15 minutes at the beginning of the group and 15 minutes at the end.
This experience was deeply transformative and I highly recommend exploring opportunities to join similar groups or start your own! When I reflect on my own transformation over the years, this has been one of the most valuable spiritual practices.
The purpose of this free teleseminar is to facilitate a group experience that is available to everyone, no matter location, in order to explore the transformative powers of Eckhart's teachings. My intention is to follow the flow of the group and facilitate discussions based on issues that arise in the moment. This is similar to an online forum, but the situations and answers will be available via the teleseminar instead of a message board.
I will also be facilitating a guided meditation during each call. The guided mediation is based on Eckhart's teachings of the "inner body.". I have facilitated this guided meditation in every talk I have presented, except for the very first talk I was requested to present for the Institute of Noetic Sciences Nashville community group. I also use this guided meditation during a vast majority of my coaching calls.
Here is what Eckhart shares:
"Most people are so distracted by their thoughts, so identified with the voices in
their heads, they can no longer feel the aliveness within them.
To be unable to feel the life that animates the physical body,
the very life that you are, is the greatest deprivation that can happen to you."
The guided meditation will allow you to feel the "aliveness" within.
So the teleseminar will be part silent group, part talk, part guided meditation, and part coaching session for individuals requesting guidance with a certain situation. It is an excellent opportunity for transformation!
The guiding principal for the teleseminar will be to continually ask and honor this question: "How is Life calling me to serve?" This not only applies to me and how I facilitate each Teleseminar, but it also applies to the free Teleseminar and how it can serve as a vehicle for the transformation of human consciousness."

BIO
Ruth Hegarty started out as an excruciatingly shy child and young adult. She was so shy and unsure of herself that her parents encouraged her to speak up at home by giving her a nickel every time she could say something at one end of the apartment that they could hear at the other. She would sit at one end of the long hallway with her father and repeat "Hi, Mom" several times until her mother could hear her at the other end of the hallway. As you can imagine, this level of shyness made it next to impossible for Ruth to socialize at school or prepare for a career. Luckily, as Ruth grew up and recognized just how much her fear and lack of "voice" held her back she determined to change her situation. Over many years of trial and error Ruth was able to discover the secrets to becoming confident, finding her voice and living the life she always knew was out there for her. That is why today Ruth is such an inspirational speaker with a deep passion for empowering others to experience the transformative power of finding their own voice. Ruth uses her pesonal experiences and insights, her training and experience as a transformative educator and Law of Attraction coach and the inspiration she gets from seeing amazing client results to help people find their voice and feel great about being and sharing who they are.
Ruth is an experienced and passionate educator. Originally trained as a high school teacher, Ruth has been teaching college undergraduate and graduate level courses in the fields of communication, education and business since 2000. Ruth is a curriculum expert, creating her own popular college courses and consulting with other schools and companies on creating meaningful and inspiring curriculum. She is an experienced classroom and distance learning educator having trained extensively in both disciplines.
Ruth loves coaching and teaching and comes from a family of teachers. She is often described by program participants as an entertaining, empowering and fearless presence with unbounded enthusiasm and insightful practical advice. Ruth is a master at creating learning environments that establish trust, safety, respect and well-being and accelerate transformational learning experiences for participants. Her message inspires audiences to reevaluate their thought and speech patterns and how they approach change and learning to discover their own unique power and ability to create positive outcomes.
Ruth was the confidence expert for Touch FM Radio's Basic Training program and a featured speaker at the International Business & Professional Women's Foundation's National Conference. She is the author of the popular transformational e-book 52 Powerful Strategies for Boosting Your Confidence and numerous published articles.
