Cheers Theme Song, Lyrics

Making your way in the world today takes everything you've got.
Taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot.

Wouldn't you like to get away?

Sometimes you want to go

Where everybody knows your name,
and they're always glad you came.
You wanna be where you can see,
our troubles are all the same
You wanna be where everybody knows
Your name.

You wanna go where people know,
people are all the same,
You wanna go where everybody knows
your name.

M.A.S.H. Theme, Lyrics

Through early morning fog I see
visions of the things to be
the pains that are withheld for me
I realize and I can see...

That suicide is painless
it brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please.

The game of life is hard to play
I'm gonna lose it anyway...
The losing card I'll someday lay
so this is all I have to say..

That suicide is painless
it brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please.

The sword of time will pierce our skins
It doesn't hurt when it begins
But as it works its way on in
The pain grows stronger...watch it grin, but...

suicide is painless
it brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please.

A brave man once requested me
to answer questions that are key
is it to be or not to be
and I replied 'oh why ask me?'

suicide is painless
it brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please.

...and you can do the same thing if you please.

Mary Tyler Moore, Theme Song Lyrics

Who can turn the world on with her smile?
Who can take a nothing day, and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile?
Well it's you girl, and you should know it
With each glance and every little movement you show it

Love is all around, no need to waste it
You can have a town, why don't you take it
You're gonna make it after all
You're gonna make it after all

The Brady Bunch

Brady Bunch - Opening Theme (Season 1)

The opening theme from season one. Written by producer Sherwood Schwartz and Frank DeVol. Sung by The Peppermint Trolley Company. "Formed in Redwood, CA, in 1967, Peppermint Trolley Company managed to release one album and five singles. They were one of the initial bands signed to the Acta label. Only one of their singles managed to make the charts, "Baby You Come Rollin' Across My Mind." It peaked at number 59 in the summer of 1968. They managed to keep a relatively high profile by performing the weekly TV theme songs for Love American Style and the first season of The Brady Bunch (the cast members sang the theme from the second season on). The band consisted of Bob Cheevers (vocals and guitar), Jimmie Faragher (bass, guitar, and sax), Danny Faragher (keyboards), Casey Cunningham (guitar and flute), and Greg Tornouist (drums). Their success was short lived and by the early '70s the band changed their name to Bones and finally the Faragher Brothers before disbanding. Bob Cheevers gained success as a solo artist, releasing several discs in the contemporary folk genre." ~ Al Campbell, All Music Guide The Peppermint Trolley Company - Trust (1968) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUV508WEJgI

The Brady Bunch - Theme Song Lyrics

Here's the story of a lovely lady
Who was bringing up three very lovely girls.
All of them had hair of gold, like their mother,
The youngest one in curls.

It's the story, of a man named Brady,
Who was busy with three boys of his own,
They were four men, living all together,
Yet they were all alone.

Till the one day when the lady met this fellow
And they knew that it was much more than a hunch,
That this group would somehow form a family.
That's the way we all became the Brady Bunch.
The Brady Bunch,

That's the way we all became the Brady Bunch.
The Brady Bunch.

I Love Lucy, Lyrics

Everybody loves Lucy

I Love Lucy and she loves me,

We're as happy as two can be,
Sometimes we quarrel but then again
How we love making up again.

Lucy kisses like no one can,
She's my missus and I'm her man;
And life is heaven you see
Cause I Love Lucy
Yes I Love Lucy and Lucy loves me.

Mission Impossible - Theme Song

Mission: Impossible Opening Montage 1

Each episode of Mission: Impossible featured a unique opening. Clips from the upcoming show were edited together in the fast-paced style of Lalo Schrifrin's brilliant theme song and played before the opening credits. Here, I have edited together the intros to six episodes, showing the match lighting only on the first episode and the opening credits for the sixth episode only. These were recorded by me on VHS off television in 1992-93 and edited together on an iMac using iMovie HD. The episodes featured here are from the second and third seasons. This is one action-packed sequence - enjoy!
