Many serious accidents happen at work place. The construction companies have a large numbers of fatal accidents. 4) Welding rod accidents.
5) Accidents due to defective equipments.
6) Electrocution.
7) Hazardous waste exposure.
8) Loss of hearing.
Welding is a very dangerous job. It is often a cause of accidents at the work place. More than 500,000 workers are injured from welding, cutting and braising. The ultra violet rays caused through welding gives a very bad burn to skin exposed to it and also to the lens of eyes. Many workers in welding job suffers from ARC EYE caused due to the UV rays from welding
Every accident at the site is terrible but trench accidents are the worst. There are many reasons for these accidents. If it has rained recently and the machine is working at the edge of the support wall it could slip, glide and collapse.
Due to improper maintenance or negligence on the parts of constructions Scaffolding accidents takes place. It is estimated that 100,000 out of 500,000 injuries at construction sites are related to scaffolding. OSHA is very strict with the constructions sites using scaffolding. But very sadly the contractors and even the laborers think that some precautions are not necessary and sometimes end paying their life's for it. There are numbers of fear in this job but if one pays attention a lot of the accidents can be prevented.
