Why "the Crazy Camera Lady"?

I love to take photos! I started when I was 11 yrs old, but put this "hobby" on the "back burner" for most of my life. (This was me with my OWN first camera!)

In March 2006, I quit my "day job" to help in my husband's business, and this gave me the freedom to pursue my passion: Photography!

I wore out my first digital camera after taking 8800 photos from December 2003-Feb 2005. I am now on my fourth digital camera, a whopping 12 mp!!! Imagine the photo sizes I can print!

Why do I call myself the Crazy Camera Lady?

It's because of the looks that I get when I whip out the equipment!

Fred, his goose friends, and even my cats, give me the " oh no, not her again!" look!

Some new stuff from the Crazy Camera Lady!

Beautiful Butterfly!

I took this photo recently on our local bike trail here in Connellsville, PA.

Among the beautiful flowers and plants, are tons of awesome insects!

These flowers and butterflies are among the many products in my Cafepress store!

Some of God's Creatures!

The Crazy Camera Lady is Addicted!!!

I started out by taking tons of photos of everything, from the new grandson & the newborn kittens to flowers.

In early 2006, I started uploading photos to a few "stock" sites, for sale.

The photo here, was one of my best sellers. This "wishing well" was dismantled shortly after this was taken.

I've had some purchased, but this is not my "thing" anymore. I wanted more exposure.

I want more people to see the beauty I see when I am taking these photos!

My Photos are Different!

I feel that I am different type of photographer. Where most photographers strive to capture the perfect ideal image, I use photography to reveal the essence of what I see in the world around me.

This past spring, while at the river walk in Connellsville, PA, I suddenly had the urge to pull out her camera. Moments later, a Greylag goose stopped, let out a yell, and laid an egg right in front of me! The photograph I took just seconds later tells you the story.

You could see the pride on the mama goose's face. And the call for help by the two other geese who were right beside her.

My goal is to give you a single photograph that tells the story, reveals the essence, and shares an intimate moment of nature with you, the viewer.

"I don't alter my photographs. Changing the background, altering the colors, those kinds of things get in the way of seeing what's important, and revealing what is real."
