The Dark Knight - Christian Bale, Aaron Eckhart, Michael Caine, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Gary Oldman, and Heath Ledger

Batman (Christian Bale) raises the ante in his battle on Gotham City's transgressors. Aiding him in his quest is Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart). In The Dark Knight, Batman sets out to take apart the remaining criminal societies that afflicts the city streets of Gotham. The partnership proves to be successful, but they soon find themselves victim to a period of chaos that is let loose by a rising criminal mastermind known to the horrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker (Heath Ledger).
