When you are blessing your family, be sure to look for their good qualities and encourage them in those things. But, most important is to look in the Word of God, (the Bible) and find scriptures that correlate with your prayers and desires for their lives. For example:

"For this reason I bow my knees before God, from whom every family in heaven and on
earth takes its name. I pray that,according to the riches of his glory, God may grant that
we each be strengthened in our inner beings with power through God's Spirit, and that
Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith, as we are being rooted and grounded in
love. I pray that we may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the
breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses
knowledge, so that we may be filled with all the fullness of God." ~Ephesians 3:14-19
