Squidoo's Giant Challange with Team WiWon

WiWon is a Team started by, and Orchestrated by Michelle Willow, also known on the Publishing Platform Squidoo as a_willow. It is a Team of Individuals working towards the common goal of writing and publishing enough mini web pages known as lenses, to advance to a higher level of the platform and become the best of the best.

The WiWon team consists of 7 Groups, each with their own Coach, of Individuals going for one of two goals; either to become a Giant Squid (write 50 quality lenses) or a member of the 100 Club ( write 100 quality lenses).

Working as a team, with everyone helping each other, is one of the best ways to accomplish not only the team goal, but our own individual ones as well. Sharing knowledge, and a lot of fun has been my experience with the WiWon team up to this point.

This is the background, now for the fun!

Michelle, also know as a_willow is the Giants Greeter that formed the Wiwon Team. Along with Michelle we have 7 Groups, Tutors and Coaches. We also have some of the best lensmasters on Squidoo, both as Coaches, and people that are going for either Giant or the 100 Club. Last Challenge the Team did win in the Giants Challenge, and if not for a tech glitch that lost many of the entries they might also have won the 100 Clubbers Challenge also.

With 48 potential Giants and 19 for 100 Club Here are our Groups and their Coaches:

VeeBee's Colossal Squids- 12 Members Coached by Veronica aka vbright105

And last but not least is our Fearless Leader Michelle aka a_willow A Rocket Mom Graduate, Giant Squid, 100 Club, Squid Angel, Squid Greeter, and a Lensmaster like us, but with over 117 lenses to her credit. This is her second time leading the WiWon Team in the Challenge, and yet she still works full time, is a wife and mother, and I can attest to the fact that she seems to always be available to help our Team.

With all this talent and experience from our Leader and Coaches, I am sure you will agree: WiWon! WiRule! WiDominate!

Ways I have helped others on our team, and what I've done to help us win

I did over 50 lenses in 6 weeks.. (some I deleted) and I think, but am not sure, that I'm on this team. I've rated and commented on lots of lenses (but the right ones? Is it ok to rate the competition?) I've been participating but not actually sure if I've been playing by the rules or not... I had to get some scuba gear to stay under water in Squidville for the last six weeks and I think I lost the washer and dryer somewhere in the laundry pile... but, I did it! I Won, at least according to me :)

I've learned from each of the members on WiWon and that's by visiting their lenses. It's amazing how much you can learn when taking the time to review others lenses, rate and comment on them. Also, I'm grateful for those who have taken the time to review my lenses and provide feedback and show their support. And of course, the great weekly lessons, thanks to the Giants and coaches!

Laughter really is the best medicine for things, and there is a lot of stress for everyone that tries to beat a deadline. Our team uses the Ning Chat feature when taking a break, and believe me there have been some funny conversations with Alex, Holley, and let's not forget when Rachel and Tam join in with Crystal and Liz.....Well, that's until Michele comes in and tells us to get back to work.....BOT!
