10 REASONS YOU SHOULD WATCH THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY

In this Italian epic, The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, the director Sergio Leone talks about 3 men- two criminals and one stranger who are in the quest for a stolen cashbox containing $200000 which is hidden in an unknown and unmarked grave. The action, thrill and adventure make the film an international classic.

There are mainly three characters in the movie- The good, the bad and the ugly. The good is the subdued bounty hunter who teams up with the bad and the ugly to find out the treasured gold. He is the man with no name. The bad is a ruthless, sociopathic mercenary devoid of any feeling who calls himself Angel Eyes. The Ugly is named as Tuco Benedicto Pacífico Juan María Ramírez, who is a comic character though can be very dangerous at times as shown in the film. He is a bandit who has his long list of crimes and is wanted by the authorities.

Key casts are Client Eastwood as The Good, Lee Van Cliff as The Bad and Elli Wallach as The Ugly

I remember watching the movie when it was released in the theaters and became an instant fan. I, of course returned to watch the two sequels which were not quite at the level of the first. Love the soundtrack from the "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly ".

Great film. My father saw this at the cinema in 1968 on a trip away, and he promptly retold the whole movie to us when he got back! He was so bemused by the ending, I had to see it for myself when it eventually came to TV - I think it's very clever!

This is a great movie. Van Cleef, Eastwood and Wallach were really the only ones that spoke English. Everybody else spoke Italian and Spanish, which is why it looks kind of funny when the majority of the people spoke. Nice lens.

I knew this film was a "spaghetti western" ... but never considered it a foreign language film, so was really surprised to see it listed as a foreign film. The film trilogy is probably part of every cowboy movie lover's library. I am not a film buff, so I can't say that I've got any favorite foreign films. I would say, though, that the link to erotic films doesn't belong in a G rated lens. Just sayin' ...
