The Night World

The books are put together with three books in one paperback. When they were first released they were each their own book, but the characters were interwoven together. The first book Secret Vampire featured James and his best friend and soulmate Poppy. As the story progressed Ash was introduced. Near the end of the first book he introduces us to the witches Thea and Blaise. This is important since they have their own book.

The second book is Daughters of Darkness. Ash is once again involved and he's still a bad boy, but his character goes through some changes. In this book we meet three of Ash's sisters. Rowan, Kestral and Jade have fled their home to seek life in the world of humans. Ash is sent to bring them back and to make sure they have told no one about the Night World. Unfortunately for him he meets his soulmate and breaks all the rules. In this book we meet Quinn who is also a vampire, but he has a small role until his own book.

The third book is Spellbinder. Thea and Blaise are the main characters in this book. They are sisters that are fighting over a human boy. Thea finds out that Eric is her soulmate and Blaise wants him for herself as a boy toy that she will eventually throw away once she's done with him.

This book has novels four through six. These were previously released as their own books, but were also part of the Night World itself.

Book four is Dark Angel. This one is more of a stand alone book, but it's still about the Night World. Gillian is a teenager that's having trouble at home since her parents relationship is falling apart. She's very quiet and keeps to herself. Most people around her think she's younger than them because of her looks. Her life is turned upside down when she falls into an icy river and drowns. As she goes up to heaven she meets her guardian angel named who is ironically named Angel. He guides her into making the wrong decisions and she goes down a dangerous path. She did not know that she was a part of the Night World and is a witch. Her powers are being used for her own purposes and she ends up hurting someone. She realizes what she's done and must found out who this Angel really is and what he wants with her.

Book five is The Chosen. Rashel is a vampire hunter that has spent her life trying to make up for her mother's death by the hands of a vampire. This is all she's known. Her life is turned upside down when she meets her soulmate Quinn who is a vampire.

Book six is Soulmate. Hannah is a human that thinks she's going insane. She keeps finding notes that are in her handwriting and she doesn't remember writing them. Her therapist helps uncover her past lives and she finds out that she's the reincarnated soulmate of a vampire named Thierry. He's been around since the time of the cavemen. She has died several times while trying to be with him. Every time they find each other something goes wrong and she believes he has something to do with it.

This omnibus brings forth the Wild Powers. They are four very special people that will stand against the darkness. If just one falls then the darkness will win. These books also bring forth Circle Daybreak. They are a group of humans that are soulmates or family of the inhabitants of the Night World. They are protected from the elders. Circle Daybreak also protects the Wild Powers when they are discovered.

Book seven is Huntress. Jez Redfern is half vampire and half human. She was first assumed to be human until she began to drink blood. She left her gang and went back to living as a human with her mother's family after a flashback she had revealed her true heritage. Her family was killed for falling in love so she turned to Circle Daybreak and now searches for a Wild Power. What she finds will turn her life upside down once more.

Book eight is Black Dawn. Maggie is a human girl that gets lost in the Night World while trying to find her missing brother. She is captured by a witch that was dating him. She is then transported to a forgotten land. She and a blind maiden escapes from the slave traders, and she meets Prince Delos. He's a vampire that has a strange power. Can she save the Prince from the Night World that wants to use him to end the light?

Book nine is Wichlight. Raksha Keller is a werepanther who is sent out to retrieve a Wild Power. Iliana Dominick is a witch that was raised as a human. She has no idea of her power and can't use it. Keller has to convince her to give up her old life and join in the fight. An old shape shifter race is revealed in this book. Dragons can look like an innocent human, but to those of the Night World they are death.
