Why is The Office so Addictive?

Michael Scott
Regional Manager
Michael Scott is one of the greatest characters that any TV show has ever had the privilege of having. I think that the person who created this character is a genius. Michael Scott has so many characteristics that many authority figures have today. I know that I have had bosses similar to him, and I am sure that many others have as well. He makes the show, and I am always wondering what he will do next.I think that I relate because I am a Restaurant manager that loves to have fun at work. I like to think that I actually get things accomplished, but for all I know, my team members think of me as a younger heavier Michael Scott.
Oh well to hell with them if the do not like me or my childish antics! No matter how hard it is, we always get the job done.
"That's what she said!"
Dwight K. Schrute
Assistant (to the) Regional Manager
Dwight K. Schrute is the office kiss-ass. Every one knows this guy, so we all have learned to hate him. No matter how much e hate him, we cannot help but laugh at how hard he tries to make Michael love him. He is Michael's little puppy dog.Not only is he the office brown-noser, but he is also the successful owner of Schrute Farms. A beet farm somewhere in the middle of nowhere, I mean Pennsylvania. If you have not visited his beautiful bed-and-breakfast, be sure to check out www.tripadvisor.com before you go so that you will know what you are getting yourself in for.
Jim Halpert
Assistant Regional Manager
Jim is the underachieving, yet tries hard not to be the worst employee (not sure if that makes as much sense to you as it does to me). He is also known for his inner-office affair with former secretary Pam Beesly.Jim likes to think that he hates his job, but he tries sometimes. He went through a phase where he wanted to be promoted, but I think that he is now happy as the Assistant Regional Manager.
Jim was also known for quite while as the guy that never stopped harassing Dwight. He did everything that he could to piss Dwight off (not hard to do because Dwight HATES Jim). He finally laid off of the harassing when he was promote to his new position. Don't get me wrong, he still likes to have fun with Dwight, but the intensity has gone down quite a bit.
Pam Beesly
Receptionist (currently in NY going to Art School)
Pam started out engaged to marry another character that is no longer on the show. After a while, you begin to notice the connection between Pam and Jim. As the seasons go by, she calls off her engagement, they both date other people, and finally, they connect. Now she is engaged to Jim.Pam is currently attending art school in NYC, so it is quite hard for her and Jim to continue their long distance relationship. Thy are both frustrated, but I do not think that they will let this come between them.
Just recently, Michael was able to get her a job with Dunder Mifflin in NYC.
Ryan Howard
Vice President of Regional Sales (now he is just part of sales team)
Ryan started out with Dunder Mifflin as an intern. He spent time in Scranton, and really hated it here. After a while, he completed his internship, and with his education, he was offered a position as the Vice President of Regional Sales. He was also responsible for Dunder Mifflin Infinity (the way to buy online without having to deal with an actual person). After a while, he got involved with life in NYC.. He began to get himself into a lot of trouble.
He was terminated from his position, and was brought back by Michael to DM Scranton. Now he works with all of the people that he hated so much in the Office.
