Registry Cleaning - Is it Important?
Registry cleaning is extremely important to your computers health and well being. Now that might sound a bit strange but considering that you may depend on your computer a bit more than you think and keeping it running at it's peak is best done when the computer is idle so that when you want the computer to respond quickly and efficiently it does.
There is no need to become a frustrated computer user and bang your head till it is bloody pulp. Doing simple upkeep on you computer is essential to its peak performance.
(quick tip) Don't forget to dust the inside of your computer out every month. Dust is very dangerous.

Windows Fix...The Short and Long Story By Mobear410
Ever since the first Windows 1.0 people have had trouble getting it to be stable for very long and many programs have been written to help control it. First there was Autoexe.bat, Config.sys, Sys.ini, and Win.ini that controlled Windows and the more you were able to control these files the better your windows and programs ran at least for a short time.
With the new Windows 3.1 came the Registry which combines the files that controls windows and the programs that it runs. This help alleviate some problems but created new ones. As you use the computer it creates "problem" files that clutter your hard drive and make it complicated for windows run efficiently thus there is a multitude of Registry Fix It programs out on the market.
Be aware that many of them offer Free "scans" but the Fix is what cost you money unless you know where you can get the really free programs which actually do 90% of the job. For a full robust program you will usually need to pay a small fee either 1 (one) time or per year.
The one that Ample Green Foundation recommends is Advanced Windows Care (http://www.iobit.com) both the Free and Pro version. If you just can't afford the automatic repairing of your computer then you can opt for the Free version. Please remember that with the Free version you are responsible for running it to help increase the performance of your computer on a regular basis, daily if you can manage it.
Why would you want to use these programs? The reason is a little complicated for a non - computer literate person but it helps keep the files tuned up and the excess junk removed so that your computer and hard drive last that much longer.
Owning a computer is much like owning a car...it has to be kept tuned up or else it stops running altogether.
