In the mythical story of the "phoenix", glory andtriumph rise from the ashes of defeat.
Surely a day does not pass where we are not asked
by a challenge or loss to rise up again and choose to move forward with our
lives; we have the opportunity to choose what we are going to do about what
happens to us with clarity and conviction.
Resolving to be bigger than every challenge comes
from the belief that you are stronger than the temporary set-back and always
prepared to live that sense of knowing in action.
There is pure gold in that window between the
challenge and your response to the challenge; pay attention and witness the
power that you are, then demonstrate that power to yourself with faith and zeal.
In the studies that track happiness there is direct
correlation between being happy and facing daily set-backs.

As I was re-reading some of my previous training materials yesterday, a Zig Ziglar quote kept going through my head. It was the one that says, "You can have anything you want if you help enough people get what they want."
I have always liked that quote, then I started thinking about how it applied to my life so far as a network marketer. I started thinking about some of the successful people in this industry that I have become friends with and have had the pleasure to work with.
Jackie Ulmer, Chris Carley, and others have all modeled their business and life after this principle.
In regards to me, these past and present "support line" have always made me feel like I was the focus of their business. As if they cared so much about me and my success even though they all had large 'possibility thinkers' to tend to.
Never once did any of them ever hint that they had any thoughts or concerns of what I can do for their business. They always focused on what they can do for me and my business.
So, what is the point?
The point is that it matters where your focus is. How do you look at your partners? Do you think about what they can do for you, how they will help you get promoted, how much you will earn off their efforts? OR do you think and focus on what you can do to help them?
YOU may not think too much about HOW you think, but they know.
Believe me, your possibility thinkers can tell where your heart is. If they sense you care more about recruiting them to help your business along, then helping them build their business, they will never join. Your best effort will fall on deaf ears.

What keeps me motivated
What keeps me motivated is the ability to affect people's lives. I enjoy doing business and changing people's self-esteem and helping them with their own goals and dreams.My 10 Motivational Tips
1.) Use the products! Knowing your products and their usefullness and quality can give you a greatest costomer satifaction.
2.) Get on the company calls either through the internet or by phone. The successes and getting trained by the top people will get you 'pumped up' and get your questions answered.
3.) Have a 'grand opening' Party. Introduce people to your products. Share your testimony with them about your 'Why' for doing the business.
4.) Read the company newsletters for testimonies, news, and happenings of the company.
5.) Attend events! Then reward yourself for your accomplishments of going.
6.) Have your goals set in stone. This will keep you going even when your motivation is low.
7.) Stay involved with your team. Stay in touch with your organization often.
8.) Be duplicatable! Keep it simple and have a plan that your whole team can follow.
9.) Always be working on yourself. Read or listen to tapes to keep you going.
10.) Ask for help when you need it.

Having just lost my Mom this year to Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease, I read this quote and knew it was something I intend to do.Before I die I intend to be living every moment of every day living this quote:

How's your Balance?
It's so important!
We need to give the right amount of attention to all aspects of our life! I wrote my 10 ideas I find to give me balance everyday. Maybe you can use these too.1) Create a rhythm to your day.
2) slow down - smell the roses. Take notice of places, people and things around you.
3) Create your own culture. Surround yourself with people you like and who likes you. Get off the couch!
Interact with people, nature, charity work and your pets.
4) Look after your health. Don't let your friends bad eating habits influence you. It's your body and your life.
5) Develope relationships with like-minded people. Don't pre-judge anyone before you get to know them. Be open to see this person for who he/she really is.
6) Live in the moment! When your stressed, choose to connect with people you love and value. Take your dog for a walk, call your best friend. Make yourself laugh.
7) Take breaks from your daily routine.
8) Eliminate the 'broke' thinking from your vocabulary. Remember, thoughts become things.
9) Envision who you want to become. Then write down your 'why' for becoming it.
10) Treat yourself to a nice, relaxing bath. Don't forget to put a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door knob.

Here are some of the highlights.We had a short call because of the airing of "THE
SECRET" cast on Larry King Live tonight.
On our team call we talked about finding out who we
as individuals really are. Our company is all about
finding your own niche. What it is you like to do.
We are 'change agents'. Do you want to change?
People want to be around other people who are up to something. Having fun.
Creating a better community. What do you want in life? we are here
to work on your goals.
The key to any business is consistency. You can
never fail in this business but you can choose to quit anytime you want, but
that's not failing, it's just quitting.
The main thing is to find something you love to do,
and then do a whole lot of it. There are others out there that love the same
niche you do. It's just about building friendships with them and helping them do
what they love to do.

I just got off a community call and just had to share.
The leader was talking about
the philosophy of the company and I have to
tell you, I appreciate his insight. It was amazing. He talked about how the company was founded.
This is more than just products, it's about taking
a look at your life. It's right in line with balance and wellness. It's so
important to know your 'why' of doing any business. Being it - time freedom,
spending more time with family or friends or traveling. Be clear on what it is
you want your life purpose to be.
According to the best selling book by Cynthia Kersey entitled Unstoppable,
when William Marsten, a prominent psychologist, asked 3,000 people, "What have
you to live for?" 94 percent responded by saying they had no definite purpose
for their lives -- 94 percent!
I know my life purpose. Have you thought about yours?
Are you overwhelmed by the busy hustle of today's hectic pace and looking for a slower more balanced life?
If so, I encourage you to check out the Build Lasting Success. Research it. If it's not for you, then do something else.
