The Cedar Tree House

I am a computer tech by trade. I have been a computer programmer, IT guy, Internet Marketer, Computer Merchant for over 25 years now.

I began doing computer stuff in 1980, and that is all I have done since. I started on an IBM 360.

I started turning pens after I had to do some work on a house I was selling in CA in the late 1990's, last century. I first started doing wood work for the house repairs, then I started building things for the house, then I bought a lathe for some reason, I am not sure why now.
I picked up a magazine at the local bookstore on turning one day, and there was an article on turning pens. I bought a starter kit from a internet mail order house and the rest is history. I have turned a few hundred pens since then. I actually don't know the exact number. I am going to have to figure that out one day.
