I love music of all sorts. I was born in the early eighties but love music from the 50's to the 80's.
Here are a few really great music bands that I enjoy allot.

Most of the older people knows this band very well and most likes them.
The Charlie Daniels Band is country and southern rock.

The eagles made some music in the 90's as well but most their biggest hits were in the 70's and 80's.
My Father got me into the eagles and Charlie Daniels along with lots of others that I just did not like or just adored them
Blue grass I like if it has a great sound to it and tells a good story

Charlie Daniels when he first started his career

In the picture is:
Front Row: Bruce Brown, Charlie Daniels, Chris Wormer
Back Row: Taz DiGregorio, Charlie Hayward, Pat McDonald

When I was a little girl my dad had introduced me to The Charlie Daniels Band and I thought that they was going to be awful and I really did not want to hear this just like most kids are we don't want to learn or hear nothing new. But as I started listening to this music it was like nothing I had ever heard before and I feel in love with this band. they have become one of my many favorite bands to listen to.

The Charlie Daniels Band is known for his rock, country, bluegrass, blues, gospel music that has entertained millions of fans for decades. Charlie Daniels has never labeled any of his music as any thing except as CDB music.

He is known to be part southern and part western
Daniels is also a singer, guitarist and one of the finest fiddlers there has ever been.
He was born in Wilmington, North Carolina, U.S
October 28, 1936 (1936-10-28) so his age is 72.

Daniels started his career on his own in the 1950's. The song "It Hurts Me" sung by the great Elvis Presley was co-written by Daniels in 1964.

His first album was recorded in 1971 and this album was a solo. His first hit was on the second album he done in 1973 called "Uneasy Rider". This song reached #9 in Billboard Hot 100.

Daniels also organized the the first in a series of Volunteer Jam concerts that still happens to day in 1974. These were based in or about Nashville, Tennessee. There were about a three year time span that these jams were not held in the late 1980s.

There is so much about Charlie Daniels but he is still going strong and making fans happy to this very day and he WILL go down in history as one of the best there ever was

The History of the Eagles

The EaglesThe Eagles are counted among some of the best selling artists of the 70's! They became a symbol of Southern California rock and roll and are still just as popular today!

Don Henley and Glenn Frey met in Los Angeles, California in 1970 while members of Linda Ronstadt's band. They followed Ronstadt on a two month tour and afterwards decided to form their own band.

Ronstadt's manager, John Boylan teamed Henley and Frey up with Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner with the intent of creating a back up band. The four musicians had other ideas and formed the Eagles

The Beatles

It seems that this band left an ever last impact on rock music.

here is an intro to my history of them.

The Beatles led the British Invasion in the mid 1960's when they stormed America with "Beatlemania". They altered the sound of rock and roll forever and their influence can still be seen today. But, from almost the beginning the band sparked controversy around the world!

At 17, John Lennon formed his first band "The Black Jacks", they played a mix of jazz and blues. Later they changed the name to "The Quarry Men", named after their school-The Quarry Bank Grammar School in Liverpool.

The best Charlie Daniels concert I ever saw was on Halloween in Minneapolis in 1977 or '78. Broadcast live across the country, the Band was in rare form. I had a friend tape it off the radio. Alas, that tape is gone, but I'd pay money for it.
