The Coolest Guy Around

The coolest guy around, was bragging to his friend one day.

"Ya know, I know everyone there is to know. Just name someone, anyone, and I know them."

Tired of his boasting, his friend called his bluff, "Okay, Craig if your the coolest guy around, then how about Michael Jackson?"

"Sure, yeah, Michael and I are old friends and I can prove it."

So Craig and his friend fly out to Hollywood and knock on Michael Jackson's door and sure enough, Michael Jackson shouts, "Craig! Great to see you again! You and your friend come right in and join me for lunch!"

Although impressed, Craig's friend is still skeptical. After they leave Michael's house, he tells Craig that he thinks Craig knowing Michael Jackson was just lucky.

"No, no, just name anyone else," Craig says.

"Queen Elizabeth," his friend quickly retorts.

"Yep," Craig says, "I know her, let's fly over to England."

So, off they go.

At Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth spots Craig, in the courtyard and motions him and his friend over, saying, "Craig Peri, what a surprise. You and your friend come on in and let's have a cup of tea and a  chat."

Well, the friend is very shaken by now, but still not totally convinced. After they leave Buckingham Palace grounds, he expresses his doubts to cool dude, Craig Peri, who again implores him to name anyone else.

"The new Pope," his friend replies.

"Sure!" says Craig. "I've known the Pope a long time."

So, off they fly to Rome. Craig Peri, the coolest dude and his friend are assembled with the masses in Vatican Square when Craig says, "This'll never work. I can't catch the Pope's eye among all these people. Tell ya what, I know all the guards as I used to do National Security, so let me just go upstairs and I'll come out on the balcony with the Pope."

The coolest guy on the planet disappears into the crowd headed toward St. Peter's. Sure enough, half an hour later, Craig Peri, emerges with the Pope on the balcony.

But by the time Craig returns, he finds that his friend has had a heart attack and is surrounded by paramedics.

Working his way to his friend's side, Craig Peri asks him, "What happened?"

His friend looks up and says, "I was doing fine until you and the Pope came out on the balcony and the Japanese tourist next to me asked, "...Who's that on the balcony with Craig Peri?"
