Supporters of modern medicine promises us that they are getting closer and closer to multiple breakthroughs, and the technology used in hospitals and clinics today is quite sophisticated and accurate. But there are several obvious things happening among people today:


  • cancer rates are spiraling out of control

  • Everyone, even little children, deal with ailments such as headaches, allergies, pains, aches, and  numerous other conditions

  • People in America are overweight and can't seem to drop the pounds no matter how hard they try

  • People are generally getting sicker



Bad health is out of control in this country. There are children walking around with High Cholesterol and Diabetes. Perfectly healthy young individuals get cancer and are dead six to twelve months later. People who don't live extreme, unhealthy lifestyles are developing all kinds of degenerative diseases.

So why is modern medicine failing us? Why are we getting sicker if we are getting smarter?

It is what we are eating and putting in and on our bodies. We as humans, and especially Americans pump about 10,000 or more pounds of unhealthy chemicals in our bodies from our food. Think about it, before we started adding all the extra chemical ingredients to our food and plasticizing everything, did everyone know someone with cancer, did young girls of nine and ten walk around with breasts bigger than those of some adult women?

No-that's because they didn't a diet saturated with toxic chemicals, they didn't take chemical drugs for every illness or ache they had!

What we need is healthier foods-foods made of better quality and are not full of mystery ingredients that someone wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole if they saw it by itself when it wasn't mixed into the food.

Eating organic allows one to raise a healthy family by giving parents the chance to raise their children eating the healthy foods their children deserve.

Those who live an organic lifestyle have realized this. Modern Medicine and the Food Companies casually shrug their shoulders and claim that the health benefits of eating organic do not exist. Many people say that in a box of cereal, TV dinner, or a bag of Conventional Apples, the amount of synthetic pesticides, additives, colorings and whatever else they put in the regular foods on the shelves is so small that they wont affect the health of the individual who consumes it.

And yes, Most people who eat organic and those who don't both agree that in very small quantities it wont cause any major damage or disrupt cellular processes that take place.

But what if we happened to eat a breakfast every day consisting of these chemical and pesticide laced foods? That's kind of alot right?

Say we ate breakfast and lunch with these foods everyday. And for arguments sake lets say we ate a breakfast, lunch, and dinner consisting of these foods. That's everyday of your entire life. When measuring the small amounts of these chemicals in total, by the time someone is in their twenties they'll have consumed around 10,000 pounds of these chemicals.

Now I'm not sure what most people consider to be ''small amounts'' but 10,000 pounds is not likely to be categorized as small by anyone!

People who live by organic and natural standards do not have their bodies pumped full of chemicals everyday. People who live reap the numerous health benefits of eating organic:


  • Have been shown to not develop cancer, heart disease, and all the other degenerative diseases so many people suffer from today

  • Can effectly and permantly lose weight

  • Have plenty of energy to make it through the day because they are eating nutrient rich foods

  • Have clearer skin, beautiful hair and nails

  • Virtually Never get sick

  • Can eat what they want all day every day!

Those who eat organic food are very careful in the quality of their food. They know that what goes into the body and on the body will have an affect. I once had a friend who said he wasn't worried about using body care products with synthetic chemicals because he doesn't eat it, he just puts it on his skin.

Now, having a background in science and medicine, I laughed at that statement because the skin absorbs 60% of what it comes in contact with, which is why we use lotions, and creams for various conditions. If the skin didn't absorb what we put on it then there wouldn't be any point to bathing ourselves because we wouldn't be at risk for getting dirt or bacteria in our body if the skin didn't absorb what we put on it!

The human body doesn't pay attention and use some substances and politely ignore others. It is a sensitive machine that has to come to terms to everything you are exposed to. Many chemicals in food can mimic estrogen, which could explain why so many females can't even have an uneventful menstrual cycle. Chemicals can mimic alot of hormones, and they damage the structure of valuable enzymes that are vital to many cellular processes.

Over time the function of the enzyme has changed because of exposure to chemical-when an enzyme changes the mechanism it is part of is disrupted. What results is a halting of the mechanism, or uncontrollable expression of a mechanism(like overgrowth of cells attributed to cancer), or a new but not favorable mechanism taking place.

Those who follow a natural foods diet don't spend thousands of dollars on health care because they don't have many problems. They enjoy life and have more time and energy to devote to other things.

Europeans are way ahead of Americans when it comes to living healthy and organic. Organic food is plentiful in European stores and market as opposed to being restricted to the dark, fly ridden corner of the Wal-Mart produce section. Italy alone is a huge producer of organic food. Oragnic food is simply a part of life in Italy (so that's why the food is so good!), and Italians consume nearly 70-80% organic on a day to day basis.

France alone put out around 300 new organic skincare lines last year, and in Britain organic skincare and food are in high demand. Greece is also big in the organic food movement, as well as Ireland and several other countries. Europeans have long found anything too synthetic ''unnatural'' and tend to stay away.

France and Switzerland is home to many doctors who heal and treat patients using natural methods that are safe, effective, and lasting.

Also the EU created a list of some 200 chemicals and additives that are now banned from being put into cosmetics of European origin. This list contained substances known to be harmful such as mercury, as well as numerous other chemicals that don't belong.

Wal-Mart is even trying to stock organic products now because the amount of people turning away from regular food is growing tremendously.The evidence of the health benefits of eating organic food is overwhelming.
