We all dream of winning the lottery, we never seem to dream about it ruining our lives though. But many lottery winners claim that hitting it big cost them everything. They spend the money super fast, they lose their friends and the ability to trust anyone because they are always wondering if the only reason people talk to them now is to get something from them.

The moral of the story is that if you are bad with money, you are going to be broke even if you win the lottery.

If you do hit it big, hire a financial adviser immediately. Draft a budget and stick to it!

Don't become a bad statistic. Nearly 1/3 of lottery winners (of one million dollars or more) go bankrupt.
