What I Learned at the Millionaire Mind Intensive
Here are just a few of my notes from the Millionaire Mind Intensive I attended recently in Chicago. I can't recommend it enough!! It was truly a life-changing weekend and I met so many amazing people to partner with to help me take my business and income to even greater heights.
1) Rich People and Successful People Always do What they Say They Will Do!
If you did what you said you would do exactly as you said you'd do it every single day, do you think you'd have more results in your life? Of course! This is called integrity. If you want to be successful it's very simple - write down your goals every single day and DO WHAT YOU SAY YOU WILL DO! If you do that, you will be unstoppable and very, very wealthy in a few years.
2) Successful People Complete What They Start
If you start a project, complete it. Rich people go THROUGH the finish line - they complete it and keep going. Poor people quit, whine, and complain and don't finish what they start.
3) Be CLEAR on What You Want
Rich and successful people have absolute clarity about what they want and what their goals are. Ask yourself, "What do I REALLY Want in life?" Then describe it to someone in absolute detail. If they can't draw a picture from what you say you want, you're not clear enough. It was hilarious to watch people in the course say what they wanted..
Some people said things like, "I want more money." Then the trainer said, "Ok but what do you want?" they said... "More money..." on and on for like 2 minutes. Then eventually the trainer said, "You're broke because you're not clear on what you want. You say you want more money, but what do you want it for? Why do you want it? You have to be excited about what you want. It has to make you get up early and be something you're passionate about. Just having money in a bank doesn't mean anything - but if you can build a lifestyle for your family, make sure your kids go to college, take 4 vacations a year, or contribute $100,000 to charity, then that's something that has meaning and it will drive you. Get clear on what you want and others will help you because they'll get excited about what you're up to. But just saying you want more money means you're just like everyone else - wishing for more, but not willing to do what it takes to get it."
4) Rich and Successful People do WHATEVER IT TAKES
Rich and successful people do whatever it takes to succeed. They get up early, stay up late if they have to. Someone shared a story of flying on a plane just to get a 30 minute conversation with a CEO of a potential customer and he landed the deal because he had the guts and commitment to go that far out of the way to get what he wanted. Another lady shared how she was a maid from South America, barely spoke English and in 2 years earned over a million dollars a year cleaning refineries. She started cleaning homes and took every opportunity that was given to her. She always delivered more than she promised. She took pride in her work and never gave up. She worked hard and late every day for 2 years and she became rich, cleaning homes and refineries, and she could barely speak English! What's your excuse?
