Abstract Art Created by a Pony!
Buddy, the painting pony, paints beautiful abstract paintings by holding a brush in his mouth and moving his head to create strokes of paint on a canvas. He sells his paintings to help pay for his medical bills as he has Equine Cushings Disease. A percentage of the profits are also donated to research on Cushings Disease at The University of Tennessee.

More About The Painting Pony
Buddy is originally from Florida but he has lived in Tennessee ever since he moved there to go to college with his owner, Jessica. Jessica taught him to paint as a fun thing to do. However, when Buddy was diagnosed with Equine Cushings Disease in August of 2007, the paintings became a source to help pay for the cost of treating Buddy's condition. Jessica also wanted to be able to help other horses with the same disease as Buddy so she decided to donate a percentage of the profits that Buddy made to research. Today, Buddy is enrolled in a current study being performed at the University of Tennessee on environmental influences on Equine Cushings Disease. This is also where donations are made from the sales of Buddy's gift items and paintings.To help support Buddy, you can either purchase a painting or buy items from his Gift Shop on Zazzle.
