Reliving "Cheech and Chong"

About 2 am I woke up after a few hours of sleep. My wife had sat looking out the window, watching all the comings and goings. I tried to get her to go to bed. She felt she would wait until the big rush was over, incase I need her.

No other new arrivals, so it was pretty easy going. Just the shuttle buses bringing people back and forth. The laughing and friendly people strolling back and forth.

Now getting closer to the time the Concert was going to be over, I was going to try and keep on top of everything.

The Concert did not let out to around 2:30 am, but I had to wake up. Drink a cold drink and get myself alert, before the big rush, that I expected to come.

The shuttle buses started really piling people out around 2 am. The people were "Very Happy!"

After waving to me, as I sat in the trailer, they helped each other back to their place of sleep.

Very Quite! I was in "Shock and Awe!"

Then I noticed a vehicle over in the area that I had told people not to park in.

I put on my coat and boots. Grabbed the keys for the golf cart and off I went.

I pulled up next to the vehicle. No one seemed to notice me. So I stepped out and walked 1 step over to their vehicle. Still no one noticed me.

I tried to look inside, but through the smoke, I could barely make out some dark outlines, like people, maybe.

So, I knocked on the window.

The driver's dark shadow, was just inches from me, and I could tell he froze his movements. His dark outline did not move. I waited.

Not getting a response, I knocked again.

The driver pushed his face against the window, so he could look out through the smoke. He froze that position for a minute and turned back to whispering to the other people.

I knocked on the window again. This time, the driver looked over at me then turned to the people in the back seat and said in a low whisper (which I could hear as clear as day) "Shush, I will see what he wants!" Everyone tried not to giggle!

The driver rolled down the window about 2 inches. A wave of thick smoke rolled out every space of that 2 inches.

I leaned forward to start to speak, but had to back up fast due to the smoke that kept flowing out, without an end to it.

Then I asked him if he had a car pass.

The driver pointed to his pass on the windshield, which I had not been able to see due to the thick smoke. Nor could I see ALL the people they had piled inside, until some of the smoke escaped through the 2 inches of opening from the driver's side window. There had to be at least 12 people or more piled on top of each other in a 4 door car.

The driver continued to explain their space was over by some other people. "We Are In..." he pointed to the parking pass paper. He could not remember the space number, so he continued, "We still wanted to party and have some fun but did not want to disturb anyone. So we moved over her."

They were so quite, I don't think they would have bothered anyone, even if all of them were outside, right next to a trailer/RV/etc. Only soft giggles escaped the car and I don't think that would have kept anyone awake.

I told him that was fine, that I just could not see the parking pass. I added, "have a good night".

I went back to our warm trailer, shaking my head in disbelief and a chuckle.

"I'm too drunk to drive" At least this person knew his limits!

As I was sitting in our trailer, with our TV going, I kept hearing music. We have a surround sound system in our small trailer, but I was not watching anything that had music.
I stopped the movie, and the music continued. Looking out the windows, I could see a couple of cars, parked in the back, in the area where I told people not to park due to the soft ground.
Again, I put on my boots and coat, and off I went to check out the music.
There were some guys standing quite a distance from a car that had all it's doors open. The radio blasting away.
I walked up to the car, and there was nobody inside the car. Standing there, I thought someone would come over to see what I wanted. But no one did.
I went over to the closest bunch of guys, to ask who's car this was. Finally one really drunk guy said it was his. I explained there were people sleeping, and it was around 4 am. He had to turn down the radio. That I could hear the music inside my trailer, and I was at the front of the RV Park.
He replied, he could not hear the music from where the car was.
I told him to move the car to them so they could hear the music.
But he said, "I'm too drunk to drive!"
I went over and closed the doors on the side that was by the other campers. I also turned the radio down. Since no one complained, I decided to tone it down some and let them have fun.
They were quite a distance from the other campers anyways..
