The Pig and the Peacock

We started The Pig and the Peacock as an outlet for our creative passions and to honor of our grandparents. Growing up we spent our summers and holidays on our grandparents' farm in Georgia. Our grandfather raised pigs and, to add some class to the place, our grandmother had peacocks. Some of our fondest memories are from those summers on the farm.

We started making gift baskets for family and friends. We found that the process of making the soaps, salts, etc and putting together the baskets allow us to express our creative sides in a way that we cannot in our "day jobs". This beautiful necklace has a porcelain tile pendant incased in silver with a peacock design. The two strands are 18" and 18.5" long and are made of midnight blue labradorite, blue Swarovski Crystals, silver Bali spacers and beads, with a sterling silver clasp.
