Things for Kids to Do in the Rain

When its raining outside and the kids aren't allowed to go out and play in it, there is always the option of watching a movie. Most days when it rains outside it's a perfect time to go cuddle up with your blanket and watch your favorite movie and eat some pop-corn. With a wide variety of kids movies and programs on during the day, what better way to enjoy a rainy day than to be lazy on the couch.

Another thing you can do is play games. With so many kids games now I'm sure you'll have no problem finding a game that the kids love. You can play Candy Land, Trouble, Checkers, or even cards, but what ever you decide to play it's sure to pass the time until the rain subsides. Also kids love video games, and depending on if it's lightening or not just sit them in front of the videogame console and off they go.

Most kids love hate when it's raining outside unless, they can go out and play in it. As much as kids dislike getting a shower or taking a bath, yes big surprise, kids love to go splashing around in the rain. So get some kids rain boots , and a poncho and go outside and have a blast.

What better way to keep you kids entertained than to let them build a fort. I remember when I was a little kid, I loved to build forts. Take a couple of sheets, some sofa cushions and a few chairs and let your imagination run wild. I used to spend hours just building my perfect fort. When it was finally done, I actually loved being able to play in it.

Almost any kid loves to play dress up. It takes the imagination to far off lands, beyond our time and space, and even to outer space. One of the favorites of little boys and girls are cowboys. Dressing them in the little Girls Cowboy Boots and Kids Cowboy hats will be the ultimate way to pass time. A few cowboy and Indian shootouts and they may be ready for a nap.
