Biography 

Thomas "Tommo" Turgoose (born 1992) is an English film and television actor from Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England.

In his first ever film role, he played the lead character Shaun in the film This Is England written and directed by Shane Meadows. His performance won the 2006 British Independent Film Awards honor for Most Promising Newcomer (On Screen).

On television he played the character Dizzy, a young boy mentored by Adam Solomons (Luke Treadaway), in the 2006 BBC drama series The Innocence Project. The program was cancelled after eight episodes due to poor ratings and negative reviews. Turgoose's character was in six of the eight episodes.

Thomas in new music video!! 

Thomas is starring in a new music video for a Grimsby Band called The Bright-Lights.
This was filmed in black and white.
The single was inspired and also produced by, Feeder frontman Grant Nicholas, it will be released in October 2007.
Grimsby Docks and the Leaking Boot Pub (which is now sadly closed)were just 2 of the locations used in this story about a light-fingered schoolboy and Thomas's dad (Rob Eggleston) plays a security guard.
