A Tink or Disney Fairies party is perfect for little girls from toddlers up through elementary schoolers, and even as a 1st birthday theme. If they were as popular as they are now I know I would have thrown a Fairy party for my daughter when she was younger.
When planning any themed party for my daughter the first thing that I buy, weeks before the party, are the Invitations & Thank You notes. I like them to match so I always buy them at the same time. I wait to purchase the rest of the party supplies until I have a good idea of how many people will be coming. When filling them out make sure to include a phone number & email address. You'll get more RSVPs that way.

Choosing Party Supplies
A few weeks before the party I usually make the big shopping trip to buy all of the party supplies. I keep my planned menu in mind so I know which items I'll need and which I can skip. Having a head count helps too. When you are looking at all of the cute theme items it's easy to just buy everything, so planning in advance helps you avoid over spending. Always keep the receipts until after the party so you can return unused packages.
Supplies to think about: dinner plates, desert plates, bowls, cups, luncheon napkins, beverage napkins, table cloths, forks, spoons, knives, goodie bags, balloons, banners, streamers and maybe a piñata. Add to that list any items for the cake including candles, cake toppers, and a specialty cake pan if you'll be needing one.
