Tips for Winning at Network Marketing

Wow, where do you start on this one. Well let's start out by making it crystal clear that I believe this is the single most important factor in any person's success. If your minds not right you will not have success in any endeavor. So give what I am sharing with you some serious thought. Because if you are not having the success you desire its all in your head. No don't argue with me, it's not because of the Republicans, it's not your skin color, or your age or gender it's your head.

So let's look at why most of our population doesn't have a success mindset. The single biggest factor is our parents. If your parents didn't have a success mindset than how could they teach you? And lets face it most of our mothers and fathers were not successful and I mean that in a financial way, as a lot of people are successful in other ways such as being good spouses or good parents or good Christians. My parents were middle class and they did alright, but they didn't have a success mindset they had a workers mentality and that is what they taught me. You have all heard it, go to school get a good education and go out and find a good job. My parent's dreams were shrunk to fit their paycheck. So don't beat yourself up because it's not your fault it's nobody's fault.

Now that we know why we don't have a success mentality, what can we do about it? The cool thing about our minds is that it can be reprogrammed. The programming that has gotten you where you are now can be changed. This was an awesome revelation to me as basically I thought I might not be where I want to be but I can reprogram my mind and change my destination.

University on Wheels. My mentor Mr. Al Thomas really stressed listening to CD's in my car. He even gave me my first CD. He practiced what he preached as well. Every time I got in the car with him he had a audio book CD playing whether it was his Mercedes, or his Bentley. I thought if a guy driving a Bentley is doing it than I can do it to. I became passionate about personnel development and knowledge. I also started reading books by leaders in the business, leadership, spiritual, sales and anything else that I could get my hands on that I thought would help me be more successful. The more and more that I listened to and read books the more comfortable I felt talking about business. This is the easiest way to reprogram your mind for success.

The next big thing that I did to change my mindset to a successful one was to surround myself with successful people. I spent as much time as I could with people who were successful. When I was with them I shut up and listened. Mr. Thomas says that God gave us 2 ears and 1 mouth so we could listen twice as much as we speak. Successful people with the success mindset think different than average people. If you are around them enough you can hear a difference. It starts to rub off and when you start to think like the successful you feel more confident which puts you in the right mindset.

Remember that success is not the absence of failure it's the learning from failure. I heard a quote that I think is appropriate. Successful people are not the ones who failed the least they are the least afraid to fail. My partner Jason Sturtz says that success is not for the chosen few but for the few choose.

Separate your personal and business credit and finances. Protect your assets and make tax time a little easier. LLC's are really inexpensive and can make your business life a lot less complicated. With your LLC you will get an EIN number from the federal government, which will allow you to open a company bank account as well as establish credit in the companies name. A great selling point of network marketing is the tax advantages but, if people don't take advantage of the tax breaks than they are losing out on one of the secrets of wealth.
