Toby Kebbell - Johnny Quidd

Toby Kebbell recently gained notoriety thanks to Guy Ritchie's masterpiece Rocknrolla, where he plays Johnny Quidd, a junkie musician. In this movie, Toby Kebbell gives an outstanding performance, as he definitely stands out from the rest of the cast. There's something magnetic about Johnny Quidd, you hate him because he is a junkie, you love him because he is a gangster yet sophisticated and smart. However, Kebbell did not win the BAFTA he deserved although he was nominated. Rocknrolla is a movie not to be lost, the best British production in a while, destined to become a cult, no doubt! Rocknrolla is realistic and terribly funny yet nearly noir at times, the charactrs are real and alive, the film gives you a savoury taste of what is like living in London nowadays, because these types of characters... well, they really do exist in London!

He is into plumbing (yeah, I am not kiddin') and writes short stories for children because QUOTE: I write all sorts. Short films, little stories, children's stories, because you never can tell. As a human being you can't just draw one string on your bow, man, you've got to have shit to fall back on. I don't know where acting's going to take me, it's just so topsy-turvy and you don't know when you're going to be working so you've got to keep all facets open I think.
