A lighting shop with a difference!

My very own business takes me to many interesting parts of the country. (see module below 'My very own business') Predominantly South Wales and the west. As I do a lot of B2B (business to business) I come across a good number of businesses and their owners.
Some of these places just stick in your mind and deserve sharing with others. I base this 'qualifying criteria' on the business owners themselves and their staff. Likeability factor etc. and on what they have on offer for the customer.
This particular business, Tom Phillips Lighting is run by Christine Jenkins on the left. On the right is Lynda, one of a part time staff crew. Seriously helpfull people with a big dose of likeability factor.
What strikes you on a good look around is the style and designs of the many lights and lanterns on offer. How different and quirky and often 'one off'' they are. Christine's obvious expertise in spotting things original and different has recently extended to offering gifts and home furnishings too on a smaller quantity scale which compliments the Lighting beautifully. You just cannot help spotting something every time you go in!
Definately not your run of the mill sort of place and well worth a visit if your looking for something a bit different and original. Pricing appears to be very reasonable and fair considering the quality on offer.
Port Talbot centre has a pedestrianised shopping area and ample parking and a good number of cafe's and eateries. The fabulous beach and promenade of Aberafan are nearby too.
