Tonka Toughest Mighty Truck

This is the infamous Tonka Toughest Mighty Dump Truck.  Back in 1964, Tonka introduced their dump truck to the public and has sold over 25 million dump trucks since then.  When the word Tonka is mentioned, most people think of this signature vehicle.

Made of steel and rugged plastic, this tough truck is ready to work on concrete, grass, dirt, sand, wood chips, mud, or any mountainous terrain you can think of.  Its hard plastic 6 1/2" tires makes all this possible, all while being easy on (hard wood) floors --in other words, it will not mark up the floors.  But, this baby will tackle any outdoor job.  Your child will actually love helping you with yard work, or any other work you can think of that needs hauling.  And when it's dirty, just hose it down for a quick car wash.    

Its massive dump bed is so huge that a handle was built to dump the heavy load it can carry.  And, by brilliant design, the handle has enough clearance so fingers won't get smashed when the bed is lowered to its horizontal position.

A slight negative, this MIghty Dump Truck might be too high for other front loaders to load dirt into.  You child must build a little ramp to elevate the loader so it can reach over the dump bed...or they can just use their imagination and muscles to lift the whole loader to fill the dump bed.  But, once that dump bed is loaded you can bet your child will love hauling and dumping those huge loads all over the place.  You can even haul a 3 foot, 30 pound child in the bed if you wanted to...no problem!  Fifty pounds?  Bring it on!  It's that big and strong.

The design has improved from their previous dump truck.  This is wider and more stable so it's easier for a child to push it around without tipping the truck.  It also has less angled corners which is a huge plus on the safty side.
