Top 10 ways to show your cat who's the boss

Do you feel like the boss of your house? You know, the alpha male/female, top animal, etc? No?

Do you have a cat? Yes?

Then this article is for you.

First let me say I understand you. I've been there. I have scars and bites to prove it.

Many nights were spent in the pursue of one goal. Many books read, many sites browsed, videos watched, with no answer. Ever tried searching on Internet: show your cat who's the boss?

No point trying, there is nothing helpful out there. No good advice and definitely no community support for the sufferers.

There is only you in the house. And the CAT.

Now, don't despair. I bring you hope. After years of searching and testing various methods and tools, here there are the TOP TEN WAYS TO SHOW YOUR CAT WHO'S THE BOSS:

>> 1. Scotch tape

Put some scotch tape on either side of the cat. I linked here a Youtube video to see what happens.

Better even: stick it on the cats paws, all four of them, and prepare for a good laugh!

>> 2. Hair dryer - the small monster -

Turn on the hair dryer and "attack" your cat. She will never feel the same way about it...

>> 3. Vacuum cleaner - the big monster -

For the very rude cat, use the biggest, meanest, loudest vacuum cleaner you have! The ancient, the better. Snick on your cat when he/she is sleeping for an unforgetable memory!

>> 4. Laser pen

Shine the laser up and down the stairs, or on the walls for endless fun and laughs.

>> 5. The shower experience

Close the cat in shower cabin and start water.

Look at this cat, clearly he knows who is the boss, he even says I love you while taking a bath.

>> 6. Fun walk on leash

Buy a leash and take a walk on the park: the cat will adore the dog smells surrounding it and will meow at the pleasure of open space and no place to hide. See how much fun this guy had.

>> 7. Delicious culinary experiences for your cat

Why not treat your cat with some exquisite spices? Put chili on whiskers for the cat that feels on top of your house. Cannot get close enough to the whiskers, or any other part of its body? Don't worry, you can still put it on its food. This might not work for veteran human-wise cats.

>> 8. The head trap

Put a paper bag/plastic bowl on her/his head or if you cannot get close enough to its head, put some delicious cat food at the bottom of it. Have your camera close to immortalize your Youtube moment!

Wrap a toy around cat's tail and watch the cat chase its tail round and round...

>> 10. Return the favor

Follow your cat everywhere. Stare at him/her constantly, meow for no reason, occupy his favorite place just when he wants to jump on it and see how he/she likes it!

If your cat doesn't show you some respect after trying all this, don't despair: mine doesn't either! That's why I keep a hair dryer close by.
