A Fair and Easy to understand Compensation Plan. Do you know that once a person trying to recruit me actually said this about the company's compensation plan... "Don't worry, I don't understand it either but "Trust Me" it's fair!" Please... if you can't understand the pay plan you can't explain it and no one is going to sign up. End of story. Stop making us juggle and balance and hire mathematicians to figure out how we're going to make money.
Allow Distributors to Market Properly. After all this IS Network Marketing for goodness sake. Too many mlm companies hamper the marketing efforts of their distributors by not allowing them to use the company name or the name of the companies products in their marketing efforts. We all understand there are legal issues involved in here. And making false claims is BAD! But for goodness sake. If I'm a distributor I'd like to at least be able to write a company review without miles of red tape.

An easy rule of thumb for deciding if something is a growth industry or not is this%u2026 Is it something Baby Boomers want or need? If it is, you've got a winner on your hands.

- Retirement help
- Home Based Business
- Feel good products (candles, chocolate etc)
- Electronics and communications
Seriously, be leery of any company that tries to sell you on it's money making opportunity alone. The products need to be solid, useful things that people will want even if they don't want to build a business. Because the bulk of your income will come from your product customers. They may disguise themselves as distributors but in the end, most folk will merely be consumers of your products.
So are all trend products bad? Nope, a catchy product can attract attention to a company and draw folks in. But it shouldn't be the bedrock the company is built upon or it'll just be a flash in the pan.
Top network marketing companies understand this and have a solid product line rooted in a growth industry. They've been around the block a time or two (in business at least 5 years) and plan to be here for the long haul.
