Worldways Social Marketing Needs World-Class Support

I'd like to give you the top 10 reasons to hire me as your new Marketing and Communications Consultant. (There are many, many more but I've narrowed it down to these top 10.)

10: Stellar Professional Experience

Seasoned pro in advertising and marketing with 20 years' experience delivering impressive contributions to branding, marketing strategy, direct marketing, customer loyalty, new program launches, cause marketing and fundraising, and overall employee morale.

9: Master Orchestrator of Multi-Faceted Projects

As Event Marketing Manager at Office Depot (one of the many positions in my twelve years there), I helped to plan and execute their corporate sponsorship of made-for-tv events such as golf tournaments ie. The Bay Hill Invitation or the Office Depot Father/Son Challenge. My duty was to work with the Executive Team to define the goals and objectives and orchestrate a plan involving many different departments and entities including (but not limited to) sports marketing agencies, television networks, advertising, merchandising, promotions, stores, the sales division, meeting planners, newspapers, radio stations, etc. to ensure we received maximum exposure for our investment.

8: Strange Brain Balanced Between the Creative & Rational

OK, this Squidoo page alone should stand as proof of a creative flair I might have, yet my true value comes an uncanny ability to develop executable plans that take into consideration the views of all parties concerned and build them into actionable timelines and budgets. I delight in meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

7: Communication Skills, I Can Talk to Anyone

Regularly in my career I've dealt with the executives of the top office product & technology companies in the world - HP, Xerox, Sanford, Avery-Dennison%u2026 and sports celebrities & Kathy Ireland too. I can just as easily with them as I can with my co-workers and those I lead on my team. I am an excellent team leader.

6: Courage To Go It Alone, Vision to Make It Happen

For the last 4+ years, I have had my own company, Basel Marketing & Events, offering (you guessed it) my marketing and event planning services. I understand all aspects of running a successful business and building a clientele you value and respect.

5: Not Just Another Triathlete

In Florida, I took on triathlon training for a pass-time. As you can imagine, this takes an immense amount of willpower, goal-setting and dogged-determination in sticking to the plan. Fun enough, but I took it a step further to mentor my local Team In Training group so that I could share my knowledge, passion and success with others while also contributing to a hugely deserving charity in the Leukemia Society.

4: 6th Grade Award Recipient for "Most Enthusiastic"

And I haven't changed. Regardless of what I choose to undertake, I am hugely passionate and downright contagious in my approach. I truly don't see any other way to live.

3: Passion for Health & Wellness and Connecting in a Way to Better the Community

In the last year, I chose to target the efforts of my own business to my personal passion of health and wellness. To that end, I have picked up clients who are life coaches, naturopathic doctors on a mission to share the word on optimal wellness, and a company who has developed a drunk driving deterent. We make the world a better place, first with ourselves, and then by being of service to others.

2: Closet Social Marketing Junkie

A bit of a confession, I simply cannot expand my knowledge enough on Web 2.0 and the power of social networking on the internet%u2026 and I spend many evenings on my computer studying. I am in awe of how measurable (and instantly so) marketing campaigns are and the immense potential to better the lives of hundreds of thousands of people cost effectively.

And the #1 Reason to Hire Me... Competitive Nature To Succeed

If it's a target, I want to beat it. If it's a budget, I want to come under. If it's an ROI, I want to better it. If it's a customer expectation, I want to exceed it. I truly want to succeed. And there's one challenge I see I would love to take on, and (aside from being your new Marketing and Communication Specialist) I would like Colorado to challenge Delaware in becoming the state with the healthiest children!
