Toy Story

Do you recommend an unusual toy or educational toy. Did you ever rush round the stores on Xmas Eve looking at bare shelves kicking yourself that you didn't start your shopping earlier? Tell us your shopping story? What toys do you still have from your childhood? Or what cheap gift bought just as stocking filler did your child get that delighted him/her last Xmas? Or was it just the box the gift came in?

What a coincidence that I happened upon this page on 'black Friday' - yuck, no stores for me! My kids are no longer little, but I did start shopping online back then and still do. I do buy silly toys for my sons sometimes and that 'voice changer' here seems like something they might have fun with, the pranksters.

I've never done the rushing around looking for special toys. When my children were young, I would let the Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles take care of those items because every year they would ask what the kids really wanted. I guess I dodged that bullet but I have heard the stories of tears and fights over a toy....and the children weren't even there!
You seem to have one stop shopping here, very nicely done with.

Yes, Christmas comes all too fast...and I'm getting worse and worse at handling it.

Great Lens that has provided lots of food for thought on what to get the younger members of the family for Christmas this year. I have a feeling that the new World of Warcraft expansion that is due out on 7 December may top the Amazon Top 5 Toys Video Games this year!

The one thing I do not miss about my children's childhood is the crazy, dangerous toy battle. Some of these toys do look pretty awesome though.

Holy moly, there are so many toys out there nowadays. When I was a kid, it was all about bicylcles, Big Wheels, and making forts. Oh, and a Barbie doll or three. Anyhow, nice job on your lens and congrats on that great rank!
