Load 'Em Up and Move 'Em OutBuilt with strong, durable plastic, Rocky is ready to handle heavy loads. Your child can manually tilt his dump bed to unload it -- or make some noise and he'll do it for you. And when you push Rocky forward or pull him backward on all six wheels, his blue headlights are activated and he'll make some noise of his own, with engine sounds and honking.
The smokestack on the front of the truck is the primary way to control this robot truck. Tilting the lever back gets Rocky to stand on his back four wheels. The truck is automatically set in dump mode, but pressing the red button on top of the smokestack several times will switch it to dancing mode, where he'll shake his upper truck body to music. Pushing the lever forward returns Rocky to a normal truck position.
The red button also cues Rocky to say one of his many phrases or jokes, and also wakes him up if he's taking a nap. If you don't play with Rocky for a while, he will go into sleep mode -- a may even snore. Kids get Rocky's attention by placing objects in his dump bed, or by pushing or pulling him.
Make Some Noise!
Rocky is very responsive, interactive, and engaging -- often prompting kids to make noise so he can show off his dancing and dumping skills. Because you can play with him manually or with his help, Rocky makes playtime easy and simple. However, with only one button for a couple of operations, Rocky's automatic modes may take some getting used to for younger children. They may have a difficult time getting directly past the robot's talking to get to the dancing mode.

What To Get The LIttle One? A Toy Dump Truck
As parents and as hard as it may be to recall, we were all at one time children, and we all know that fads come and go. Toys are bought after children cried and begged for days and weeks, only to be tossed aside like an empty wrapper. This after you've spent hours scoping out every toy store within a 50 mile radius and sent numerous bids on auction sites online to get the hottest must have toy of the minute. Don't waste your money this holiday season on electronics and games that won't really satisfy your child's desire to explore. Honestly, If you want to know what to get your younger child, especially your young son, a toy dump truck will do it.Talk about a big smile-ok maybe not right away when they first open it, but once they get it out of the box and take it outside-this is what will really thank you for and remember later on down the road. Besides, this is probably the toy that will last them the longest. It seems that everything seems to break these days. I know this from experience.
The item that is at the top of my oldest son's wish list for this holiday season is the one thing that I managed to break, I mean really break an iPhone. I wanted one forever and what did I do? Maybe I shouldn't tell you.
I may as well have run it over with a toy dump truck, or a real one for that matter. The point I'm trying to make is that all of the things that glitter before our children's eyes seem to be ridiculous trinkets, anymore. Why not get your boy or girl for that matter something that they will really get out there and play with?
One of these old greats makes an ideal toy for your child, whether they are one or ten. Ok, maybe ten is a bit old but then again, maybe not. Wouldn't it be nice if our kids could hold on to their innocence like we did? They're growing up too fast.
There's one way to at least help them enjoy their childhood a little more than they might if they sit in front of the Sega, XBOX, Nintendo or atari for too long and that is to buy them something that gets them active, gets them outdoors and gets them thinking about something other than killing bad guys with shot guns.
Buy your kid something real, something tangible to play with. Even if it's not a truck, get them something with wheels, bells or whistles that doesn't plug into a wall this year.
