Tracking the Soul With An Astrology of Consciousness (the book) outlines not just the theory behind the astro-chakra system, but also demonstrates the practical application of this theory to real life. Everything you need in order to understand your own life issues and shift them with conscious intent is presented in the book.

Still, it can be a daunting task to actually do this work, especially for someone with a limited knowledge of astrology. To make the ideas in this book more accessible to more people, Joe presents the astro-chakra theory in a 6-day participatory workshop.

This workshop is presented under the auspices of The Astropoetic School of Soul-Discovery, a 4-year correspondence course, teaching an intuitive, image-based approach to astrology as a language of soulful self-guidance that Joe calls astropoetics. Squidoo lens for the School coming soon!

I am not an astrologer, but love exploring the many patterns of the spirit. Astrology, or at least mundane astrology as it is often practiced in the west seems to be complete enough for most, but fell short for me. I not only like how you join the chakra to astrology, but how you've done so. You speak with an open heart, a rare gift that allows us to see ourselves without judgment, with both our positives and our challenges. I especially appreciate the concept that the energies of the planets are used differently by each individual and how you've linked this to the chakras.

The workshop is broken down into easily digestible modules.

Day One covers the chakra system and the koshas, a supplemental system for understanding how consciousness is being channeled through life experience.

Day Two is a crash course in astrology for those who know little or nothing about it. This module will speak of astrology specifically as it applies to the chakra system, so Joe guarantees even those who do know astrology will not be bored.

Day Three covers the astrology of each chakra, presenting examples of how issues related to each of the chakras manifest both astrologically and in real life.

Days Four to Six - which are really the heart of the workshop - address the charts and life concerns of each participant.

Each workshop will be limited to 12 participants in order to allow maximum participation and ample time to focus exclusively on each participant's chart. If there is sufficient interest in a given geographical area, additional workshops will be arranged.

The cost of this 6-day workshop is $900 (Feb. 2009). A non-refundable $450 deposit is payable in advance, the remainder upon registration at the door.

In addition to the workshop itself, this fee will include a free copy of Tracking the Soul (a $25 value) and a free 90-minute follow-up phone consultation (a $150 value) in which you can ask any questions you wish that arise from the workshop, in relation to theory or your own chart or both.

The Tracking the Soul Mobile Workshop will be made available wherever there is sufficient interest and someone willing to sponsor the event.

Sponsors will receive free attendance, and 10% of net receipts (after expenses) in exchange for helping with setting up the event.
