Tracy Jane Grimshaw (born June 3, 1960) is an Australian journalist and television presenter.
Grimshaw's career began in the 1980s when she became a newsreader and reporter for the National Nine News in Melbourne. In 1995, Grimshaw appeared as co-host of The Midday Show and has filled in as a newsreader and host of A Current Affair. Grimshaw is best-known for co-hosting Nine's breakfast program The Today Show.
In the early 1990s, Tracy hosted the reality series Animal Hospital, presented the Saturday editions of The Today Show.
She finished her run on The Today Show on December 23, 2005, and then became host of A Current Affair, taking over from Ray Martin on January 30, 2006. Grimshaw had previously hosted the A Current Affair Summer Series while Martin was on annual leave.
On July 4, 2006, a tribute video celebrating Grimshaw's 25th year of employment at the Nine Network was aired on A Current Affair. Former Today Show host and current 60 Minutes reporter Liz Hayes appeared on set to present Grimshaw with a bunch of flowers.
Grimshaw was reported on December 17 to be on a Seven Network shortlist to host its Today Tonight show in the wake of Naomi Robson's departure, though the role was given a month later to Anna Coren.

Let Tracy know that she is a positive Television Talent.
I think Steve.L summed it up perfectly on her exit from Today show, He said "Your a class act Grimshaw"
She is, really. Her career is something you can only admire, she's made it in what was once a very male dominated industry, I take my hat off to her.
Even now, i'm sure it's not all rosey at the top and she'd have to work hard even today to maintain standards. Just please, show a little respect when it comes to her private life etc, she's guarded her private life well as no one knows very much about her at all other than her family / friends.
Her devotion to animal welfare and the side of her personality that just glows when she's around her horses/dogs etc is really beautiful. She looks like she's in her element when she's on her property with them.
All I'd ever wish for her is health & Happiness.
If she's not with anyone, good on her, if she is, hopefully He/She is incredible & takes darn good care of this very special & beautiful (in & out), woman. Love ya Trace. XOX ... LR

Not sure many electronic talking heads are actually "great journos"..but in any event Tracy's major failing is that she looks into the camera begging us to let her keep her job.

Love Trace, she's a great journo, never lets anyone get away with anything. Love the personal pieces put to air about herself, ie, horse flu.
