My jouney through traffic exchange

When a title using he keyword traffic exchange is used no one could be blamed you for thinking that I the writer of this article must be trying to promote one of those businesses that promise you thousands of hits and better page rank for your website.

Well that is the case but with a distinct difference, firstly I do not own or am I affiliated or have friends or family who are affiliated with a traffic exchange in any way.

So why am I writing this you may ask, well I have just published my first website and while on this major learning curve of SEO, one of the first tip I got while on YouTube was traffic exchanges, now you must remember that I had been one of he majority of people who believed that you only had to put a website on the internet and that was it bags of cash would flow from your bank account into your pocket yes I'm rich, no such luck. Well that was a shock, more hard work than I could of ever imagined but I must say it can also be fun. That's how I came to use traffic exchanges.
but what i want to tell you about is the journey I had to find a good exchange, let me tell you now it was not easy so many of them promise you the world but give you very little like a truly innocent young lady being chatted up by the local stud, he has been in this position before and knows just the right things to say to get what he wants from you.

I've been with quite a number of the different exchanges, one major point to remember is there are some who seem to be run or owned by the same people, so now when I find a exchange that is I feel bad and you see on there landing page links to other exchanges I personally would give them a wide berth. It's very important to remember that I'm talking about my own experiences and you can take or leave my advice or even go though the process yourself and see how it relate to what I've been through.
To sign up for one of these sites then spend a night surfing only to find a week a month later you have had no or little hits to you site or blog is so demoralizing, especially when it happens time after time after time.

I also found by and large when you get many different sites using the same template you seem to get the same result, I not saying that all company that use the same template are bad more like the bad one would make it hard for me to sign up once it see that template again (once bitten twice shy syndrome).

I have on more than one occasion surfed over 2000 site and got nothing back, similarly I've surfed thousands of site in a 24 hour period for an exchange and get 20 to 40 hit back to my sites a day, now that type of situation can become so frustrating especial when you are dedicating so much time to improving the ranking and visibility of your site.

let me tell you of one of my bright ideas or what at the time sounded like it made sense, one night while searching though the web trying my best to find a trust worthy traffic exchange, one particular site caught my eye a Christian auto surf traffic exchange now this really pleased me because I was under the impression or the dilution that being a Christian site it's got to do exactly what it said it would do on the box, was I wrong because stupidly and with blind trust I surfed more that 6000 pages on that site then had to wait and wait and wait for almost two months before they got around to approving my site, usually I would surf the minimum amount of pages for an exchange that I have just signed up to then wait to see the number of hits my site UploadAproperty would receive (your move fool). And when my website did finally achieve approval I would receive way below 200 hits a day to my site.

anybody reading this quickly could quickly becoming depressed so I'm going to give you all little ray of sun shine, I going to inform you of the traffic exchange sites that have worked for me, again I'll remind you that this is only my opinion and you must go out there into the big wide web and find out for yourself because I really do not want a situation where people are accusing me of slandering all traffic exchanges. The message that I am trying to get across is this one there are a lot of traffic exchanges that promise you the sun the moon the stars and what they deliver to you, well you no where I'm going with this, but on the over hand there are really good traffic exchanges that again dose exactly what it say on the tin.
The good sites are by and large usually Manual site where there is a count down of between 10 to 30 seconds depending on which site you sign up to, you would then have to click something (a sum or a symbol) and then you would view the next page, these are usually the most reliable as opposed to auto surf site that can go down but with the good ones this is rare.
So I am going to give you 4 no 5 of the traffic exchanges that have worked for me, I hope they bring you luck too.

Manual sites
TrafficSwarm: I may wrong but from what I've read Traffic swam are meant to the best.
EasyHits4u: very reliable.

Auto surf sites
Clickevolution : One of two sites that got my site listed in yahoo and got me an alexa rating
AutoHits.dk : This is the other, 20second timer but very reliable (apparently the first ever auto surf site)
autosurf.clem.org : You must have a good server, has a 10 second timer and can really heat things up
