7 Traffic Promotion Tips - Expert Web Site Traffic Promotion Secrets Revealed!

If you want to get some more traffic to your website that is about, let's say "weight loss" that might be a hard keyword to rank for in search engines, but on the other hand a high traffic Keyword on sites such as YouTube, or other sites. Altough the odds are that this keyword will not be a viable keyword to use to get the most traffic from your marketing.

When you start to promote your website of course you want the most free traffic possible, right? Yes! But see, the thing is that you might be targeting a keyword that is too hard to rank for in search engines to the point where not even the best experts in the world could rank. There are many such keywords in todays online world. Try, 1 and 2 word words, such as "weight loss", "acne tips" and "make money online"... These are far to hard to rank for! Instead use sub-keywords, or long-tail keywords such as "fast women weight loss", "acne removal method", or "make money squidoo". These are far more targeted and will likely have less competition. A good guideline is to keep your main keyword between 3-4 words and with a search volume of -10,000-30,000 or more, and competing page sin "quotes" searching on Google to less than 20,000. Then with some good marketing you'll be able to grab a top position in a few months time!

In order to get the most out of your website you want to be ranked high in the search engines, such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. Don't worry, with my free traffic method it doesn't take years to rank your website high in the search engines and you'll knock the competition out of the water if you are armed with these mehods and use them! So let's get back to it...

SEO has two parts to it. The "on page optimization" and the "off page" optimization. I hve to be honest that I've ranked many of my sites only based on "on page optimization" which means, getting the right keywords on your page. So if you are targeting "weight loss for women" you want to have it in the title of the page, in the description and also in the keywords of your page. Like one of my sites "Website Traffic Promotion" is optimized well for on page SEO.

Off page SEO means you "vote on your site" by building links from other sites linking to your site. You want these sites to be as high authority as possible so that Google likes your pages. More links show more people are liking your content (thus linking to it) which means you will be awarded with higher rankings.

The #1 reason a person will visit your website is because you have a solution to their problem, or you can provide them with the "quick fix" that they want at that moment, be it a fun clip, an image, a video of somethin education or an article with information. No matter what, they want credibility from the perons in order to go through to a site that offer something to buy. So if you are an affiliate of a product you have to use sales copy from the website to prove results (now FTC WILL KICK YOUR BUTT FOR PUTTING CERTAIN RESULTS ON SITE SO WATCH OUT!), but other than that, people simply respond to proof.

Create a video of your product, showing it's benefits, opening up the ability to judge you, because it's power to allow it. Make a few promises, but make them easy to keep! The more right you do, the better! So it's better to promise something small and fulfill it, than it is to say something big and outrageous and "lie" or "misguide" your crowd. That's why my product shows you how to drive traffic only, because that's easy to deliver on, as opposed to "making sales from that traffic", whcih is step 2 once you got traffic coming in.

Listen. The number 1 reason you'll click on a link is because you trust it. That's it. If you didn't trust that the link you are clicking on has some kind of benefit you wouldn't click it, as simple as that, so when you want traffic, buidl that cradibility any way you can using testimonials, results, proof, expert comments or whatever to help build your website up as an authority for that specific topic or niche!

Article marketing is STILL one of my favorite ways to improve my website's traffic and search engine rankings. When you submit an article for inclusion in an article directory you get more than one benefit. The first benefit is the immediate traffic you might get the first few hours it goes live on that specific article directory. This alone could potentially bring hundreds, if not thousands of visitors, but usually just a fairly large burst of 10-100 visitors will come through. You may not be a good writer or you have the wrong keywords, in this case you might not get any visitors.

Either way, that doesn't matter because that article will now be on another site, so if you linked back to your website, Squidoo lens or HubPage your site will now get a new "vote" or backlink. This will help increase the search engine rankings when done repeatedly on various article directories. I use this method on almost all my new sites to gain some instant backlinks and increase my search engine rankings. Go and use it...

YouTube alone has millions of users and over 75% of all online traffic today is video, so that goes to show that if you create some valuable videos and post them to YouTube with a link back to your site there is a good chance you will gain serious traffic from these videos once they start to add up. Personally it's one of my favorite methods for marketing, because it's so quick and easy to create a quick and easy 2-3 minute video with a tip, hit upload, put in a few lines to describe my video and let it go to work. That's what I've done successfully for a few months now! It's gotten me hundreds of thousands of views and tens of thousands of targeted visitors and thousands of free leads! If you think about it... people who you want to come visit your website are already out there somewhere right now looking for you or they are looking for your competitiors. What you need to do to stick out is become a person of more value for that person. This means you might have to go the extra mile and try to come up with better content, be more active, make more content, promote more or hire more people in order to achieve it. Listen, don't become a person of success, but rather a person of value and your success will follow!

When your message is good enough, people will HELP YOU promote your stuff. That's what viral marketing is. You no longer need to be the driving force, but all the people who see your value might put in a little bit of effort. That means 100 people does 1% of work and achieves 100% of the results! Understand? Good! Give something away for free and start sharing your value!

People in general have trouble taking action, but it's even harder to get somebody who might not fully understand the benefit of visitng your website, who is skeptical a good enough reason to click through to your website. It has a direct benefit, 51,987 free visitors. It has a call to action "click here right now" and it also shows you can "learn" something which is great... That's how you funnel them from where they are now to where you want them to go and this is very important, because if they do not move, you will not generate more traffic, period!
