After reviewing recent news stories about the Hot Toys for this Christmas, the following items were highlighted :

1. Optimus Prime voice Changer Helment: A helment mask that has a built-in voice distorter. It follows on from the Darth Vader masks of last year.

2. Ultimate Bumblebee Transformer: It's like having two toys in one. A 2008 Camaro transformes into a robot that speaks 17 different phrases and makes battle and transformation sounds. Made by Hasbro

Don't forget to check out The Hot Toy Superstore to find those hard to find Transformers items or maybe just find the hot toys that are out of stock at your local stores.

The Continuing HOT Toy for 2008 - Transformers

We all know that the Real meaning of Christmas has nothing to do with stuff, or at least we should know. Spend quality time and teach your kids about the real meaning of the day.

However, as parents we do want to try and provide our kids with fun toys. If you have spent at least one Christmas season with a pre-schooler or older, you know the pressure to get the latest and greatest toy. This may be the latest video console or latest toy representing something from a popular movie or just some cool and unique "contraption".

For the 2007 Christmas season the hot toy for many kids will be "Anything" related to the Transformers. I personally knew nothing about Transformers until my kids bugged me to go see the movie this summer. The only thing I can say is WOW. If you haven't seen the movie, you should grab the DVD as soon as you can. It is a keeper.

The popularity of the movie has led to a resurgence of interest in anything related to Transformers, including many of the new toys. If you are trying to find it locally, I can personally recommend Costco Warehouse. When they have them in stock, the prices are good and I just like Costco (No I don't work there or have any other association with them). If however you cannot find one there, you can check out specialty (niche) websites that focus on particular product lines. These new niche sites offer a valuable service to the busy on the go parent or someone who doesn't have time to shop in the traditional brick and mortar store. One particular niche website that focuses on Everything Transformer is The Hot Toy Superstore at http://www.hot-toy-superstore.com . This site also has the latest news about the Transformer craze.

My advice is to buy early, unless of course you enjoy spending the night in front of your latest big box toy store the day after Thanksgiving along with every other desperate parent looking to snag the hot toy.
