Ranked #3,717 in Movies & TV, #105,554 overall

It's almost here Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and I can not wait...I am so excited!

I can still remember the first Transformers movie...OMG. It was great. Micheal Bay did a great job of bringing the cartoon and toy franchise to live action silver screen status. He stayed true to the original theme of the cartoon and characters...it was just done right.

Now we can be expecting the next installment of the roller-coaster ride we call Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

And if the trailers to this film are any indication of the movies quality I think we will be seeing a rarity in movies where the sequel out-does the original. To say that I was blown away by the trailers is an understatement...

All I can say is W-O-W. I just can't wait for the movie to come out. I am hoping that they have in IMAC format. Now that's be a trip!

'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' Robots Revealed

Excitement around "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," the sequel to the enormously successful 2007 movie, has been building steadily.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Excitement around "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," the sequel to the enormously successful 2007 movie, has been building steadily since we got our first glimpse of the action in the ad that played during the Super Bowl. Two weeks later the trailer was released, and it looked like director Michael Bay wasn't lying when he promised bigger and badder robots than in the first flick.

Now, to get the fans even more energized, Paramount Pictures has released to us the full list of all the giant robots that will appear in the new movie. Plus we have new photos with first looks at two of the evil Decepticons that will battle the heroic Autobots when the movie hits theaters this summer.

AUTOBOTS

  • OPTIMUS PRIME: The Autobots' leader - alternate form: Peterbilt truck .

  • IRONHIDE: Weapons specialist - GMC Topkick.

  • RATCHET: Medic - Hummer H2.

  • BUMBLEBEE: Friend and mode of transportation for Sam Witwicky - 2010 Chevorlet Camaro.

  • ARCEE: A female Autobot - motorcycle. see below for more details.

  • SIDESWIPE: A Lamborghini in the toy line, here he transforms into a silver Corvette Stingray concept car.

  • JETFIRE: An older Decepticon who switches sides - SR71 Blackbird jet.

  • JOLT: The original toy was a Decepticon, but in the movie he's a good guy - Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid.

  • SKID & MUDFLAP: a.k.a. "The Twins" - Chevrolet Beat and Trax concept cars.

DECEPTICONS

  • STARSCREAM: Formerly Megatron's second in command, he escaped at the end of the first movie F-22 Raptor jet.

  • SCORPONOK: The mechanical scorpion that attacked the American troops in the desert.

  • THE FALLEN: One of the original Transformers, he's called "the most elemental bad guy" by the screenwriters.

  • SIDEWAYS: The Audi R8 seen crashing through a building in the trailer.

  • SOUNDWAVE: A cassette player in the original toys; his alternate mode will be a communications satellite.

  • RAVAGE: A four-legged, cat-like robot (see photo).

  • THE DOCTOR: A spider-like crawling robot.

  • WHEELIE: A small, radio-controlled truck.

  • DEMOLISHER: One of the Constructicons that transform into construction vehicles.

  • DEVASTATOR: A giant robot formed by the Constructicons joining together; individually, they are: Scavenger, Scrapper, Hightower, Longhaul, Rampage, Overload and Mixmaster.

Noticeably absent from the list is the Decepticon leader, Megatron, who was killed at the end of the previous movie and last seen being dumped in the ocean. Michael Bay denied that Megatron is in the movie, but actor Hugo Weaving said in an interview that he had recorded dialogue for the part. We'll see if and how he returns when "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" opens on June 24th.

I was a huge Transformers fan as a kid. I'm glad to see they're added Soundwave to this movie, but kind of disappointed he's not going to be a cassette boombox. How can he eject Rumble and all of those other cassette Decepticons? We'll have to see. Anyway, great work, 5 *'s!

Arcee Will Die

Arcee, the beloved pink motorcyle Transformer, will die in the new movie "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen"

Per a recent interview that Michael Bay did on MTV, Arcee, the pink motorcyle, will die in the Transformers sequel.

Mr. Bay says that her death will be quick and it "won't be a sad death."

Bumblebee

Bumblebee was a major character in the first Transformers movie. Will he be again in Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen?

I wanted to write something up on Bumblebee who has always been one of my favorite Transformers characters (next to Optimus Prime.) But I just could not do it right. However, there was someone that was able to do it right. Here is an exerpt from the lens on Bumblebee from Maydusa.

Bumblebee (known in Japan as Bumble) is the "little brother" of the heroic Autobot faction, constantly striving to prove himself in the eyes of the taller, stronger robots that he idolises - especially his commander, Optimus Prime. So strong is this desire, he often takes risks that put him in danger. Although a bit of a wise-cracker, he is a capable and reliable messenger and spy, his small size allowing him to go places that his larger comrades cannot. He is highly fuel efficient, has great visual acuity, is particularly adaptable to undersea environments and transforms into a Volkswagen Beetle. He was later reconstructed in a stronger, more mature form as Goldbug.

Bumblebee's is established as the smallest of the first year Autobots, but his actual size varies greatly in the various media, ranging from the same size as other Autobot cars to barely taller than a human. His only official height was in an early issue of the Marvel comics where it is stated he is 15 feet tall.

Bumblebee's primary function in the original Transformers animated series and comics was to serve as the "young" character with whom the youthful viewing audience could identify, and he would befriend the Autobots' primary human ally - the young son of the Witwicky family, Spike Witwicky - to this end, a concept that persists into the 2007 Transformers (2007 movie) live-action film. Although a well-known character because of this, Bumblebee is quite unusual in that, unlike many other Transformers, his name has not been re-used and applied to unrelated characters throughout the ensuing twenty years of Transformers media due to the loss of the trademark until recently. His role as the "young yellow character", however, has inspired other Transformers characters with the same role such as Cheetor and Hot Shot. However, it was Hot Rod that inspired the immature nature of those later characters, for Bumblebee always followed orders and never talked back to his superiors.

Patton to Voice Mixmaster In Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen

Mike Patton has been confirmed to voice Mixmaster in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen according to entertainment website Movie Web.

By Blitz on Sunday, April 05, 2009

Mike Patton has been confirmed to voice Mixmaster in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen according to entertainment website Movie Web.

The site claims a "close" (quotes Movie Web) friend of the lead singer of Faith No More.

We have not heard any rumblings about Mr. Patton, who has lent his voice to many different projects including the video game The Darkness.

The website reports that the role will be more of a cameo role.

Take this with a grain of salt for now until we hear something more definitive, as the website reports that the "close" friend was not quite positive of which Transformer Mr. Patton will actually voice.

Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen Trailer #2

The second trailer of the Transformers is here.

As is always the case, as we get closer to the movie being released we will start to see more and more trailers and other videos about the movie. It only helps to build hype. But in this case I like it. I hope you enjoy the new trailer as much as I do.
