Jerome is located about 74.1 miles from Flagstaff,AZ.
To get to Jerome from the Flagstaff, head west on the 40/AZ-89/W Route 66/W Santa Fe Ave toward the 40/AZ-89/S Milton Rd/W Route 66 and continue on the AZ-89 for about 4.6 miles. Then continue to the I-17 South for about 49.5 miles. Then take the 287 exit for AZ-260 towards Cottonwood/Payson/Hwy 89A for .4 miles. Turn right at AZ-260 and drive for 12.2 miles. Then take a left at AZ-260/AZ-89A/S Main St. and continue to follow AZ-260/S Main St. for .6 miles. Turn left at AZ at AZ-89A/E Cottonwood St and continue on the AZ-89A for 4.1 miles. Take a left and stay on AZ-89A for 2.9 miles and you will enter the town of Jerome.

Features stunning views and fine wines
Situated on the Cleopatra Hillside with the rest of the old town buildings, the Jerome Winery offers a panoramic view of the rest of the town as well as an excellent place to leisurely spend an afternoon. The wine menu includes over 30 handcrafted wines, so there is plenty of opportunity to try the local are. The staff is more than just knowledgeable about the wines, they are experts. In fact, the owner works the vines himself! Most of the people who work at the winery have a deep family history in the town and have plenty of interesting stories and historical facts to share over those glasses of vino. Explore the ancient ruins of the Sinagua people
Tuzigoot is an ancient pueblo that was mysteriously abandoned by its people. the building is believed to have been built around 1000 A.D. It originally consisted of 110 rooms, and had multiple story structures. The people who lived there prospered from a nearby creek from which they constructed a sort of irrigation system and became an agriculturally successful society. At the monument, you can actually walk through some of the rooms and explore what the life of the Sinagua people could have been like. Jerome State Historic Park
Tour the ghost town and grounds of the historic Douglas Mansion
The Douglas Mansion has been a landmark in Jerome since 1916. It was originally built as a small hotel for mining investors and officials. He also build a concrete dormitory for the miners which also still stands. It now is a Museum with objects, photographs and texts relating to the Douglas Family and the town of Jerome itself. Also on the tour, one can get a good idea of the rest of the mining town and facilities. It is a great place to learn the basic history of the town and how it came to be. Ghost Hunting

The Jerome Grand Hotel is a Spanish mission style building that was originally a hospital. As mining operations were being phased out in Jerome in the 50's. Rehabilitation plans began in 1994 and it has since been transformed into a hotel. However, as the last major construction project of Jerome during the mining times, it is somewhat of a local icon. But more than just the impressive stature and design the building make it famous. It is allegedly haunted as well and many thrill-seeking tourists find themselves here to experience a night of frights. Jerome Artwalk
The first satuday of every month
These evenings are filled with art, good food and local music. There are contributions from like 30 galleries with work from artists all over Arizona. There is plenty of parking, and a free shuttle running throughout the entire area.
