Travelocity promotional codes and my travelocity review

As soon as you click on the vacation packages link on the top navigation bar,I was happy to see they had a choice of the most popular destinations as one of their subsections.

Among some of the choices were Las Vegas (of course always popular), Mexico, Europe and others. I chose Las Vegas since I was planning to go there for my vacations. Their best deals were listed at the top, telling me to consider The Flamingo or Luxor. Neah. I wanted the Venetian, so I was glad there was already a section, where it seemed to be rated by popularity for the Venetian. A review section displayed all the customer reviews both positive and negative (the Venetian by the way was a 5 star review). The rate displayed included prices for both flight and hotel. Next I needed to place
my departure and arrival information. The travelocity search engine then went to work and gathered the best prices available. I loved when the results came back. It returned a choice of hotels and flights in a list that was sorted by the best Travelocity savings. The prices listed looked like the following:

Booked separately: $2,461
Travelocity Savings: -$641
Travelocity price: $1,820

It told me that because I used Travelocity I saved over $641. Whoo hooo! That's money in the bank baby. I could also sort by review rating, and price. Now I know that the other travel deal sites like Expedia, Orbitz and others offer similar discounts, but I just like the ability to see how much they have strived to save me. In addition, since Travelocity has a guarantee that if I find a better rate within 24 hours, they will refund the difference and give me an additional $50 for future travel.

Not bad, not bad at all. Now I chose the hotel provided, it had photos and all the information on amenities. After the hotel is done, I am given options for activities. Now comes the best part, I utilized my promotional code and saved even more. Travelocity publishes promotional codes often! When you reach the section in Travelocity to review your trip details there will be a little textbox stating "I have a Promotional Code" Enter your Travelocity coupon code and voila, savings heaven.

I really enjoy booking through Travelocity. I really believe they have a great platform, and very competitive prices. Long live the roaming gnome.
