Understand that the length of the cold or dry spell will vary with the type of frog and make sure there is lots of water even if you are trying to simulate a dry spell.
Watch for your frogs to mate. The male will climb on top of the female and fertilize her eggs as they are laid. If you miss this, that is OK just check around to make sure not eggs have been laid.

If the eggs are there then separate your frogs from their eggs so they do not eat them. Get lots of plants and things for your frogs to hide under.
