TriVita's Cooperative Marketing Model
TriVita is a 10 year old nutraceutical (health and wellness) company based in Scottsdale, Arizona.TriVita have a unique business model (Cooperative Marketing) in that they get their customers from television & radio advertising run throughout North America. The thing with TriVita is that they get all the customers from their advertising. They handle all the daily detail. They sell them the product, they ship it, they collect the funds, they handle all the follow-up - everything from top to bottom.
All that the TriVita Affiliate Member's need to do is to share the business concept and to receive their monthly commission cheques.
Our team uses the "3x3 Team Build" in conjunction with TriVita's Cooperative Marketing model to build successful, profitable businesses.
Sonoran Bloom and the "Share & Earn" Programme
TriVita has recently released its Sonoran Bloom range with its first product being Nopalea. Two (2) more products are due to be release in October '09.Nopalea, a superfruit that has the Nopal Cactus as its source, helps to fight diseases (like arthritis, heart disease, cancer, asthma, alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis, eczema and the list goes on) brought about by INFLAMMATION. Many people are reporting positive improvements in their wellness diue to taking Nopalea.
As TriVita's Chief Science Officer (Dr Brazos Minshew) has often said, "If Inflammation is the Problem, then Nopalea is the Solution".

It does not matter where you live in the world. Your customers are in North America (Canada & the U.S.A.). You will have a U.S. business as you will register as an Affiliate Member with TriVita. Your customers will have access to their quality doctor-formulated products which will be delivered to their door. There are over 60 products for your customers to choose from.People from outside North America who decide to become Affiliate Members are able to get their product orders as they will be sent to their US Street Address (Mail Forwarding Service) and then forwarded on to them in their own country. They will receive 9 products as part of their start-up pack.

With TriVita, as long as you have your phone and internet access, you can build your business from anywhere. You can travel across the country or overseas on holiday. You can be ANYWHERE in the WORLD and still able to build the business!!!
So, All you need to do is follow the
1. What do you need to have as far as Trivita is concerned to sign up?
You only require 2 things - a US Tax ID and a US street address. By doing this, you will be a "U.S. Entity" as far as the company is concerned.
2. How do you get a US Tax ID?
First you need to visit the Inland Revenue Service (I.R.S.). site (http://www.irs.gov/app/picklist/list/formsInstructions.html?value=ss-4&criteria=formNumber&submitSearch=Find) and download Form SS-4. Once you have completed this form, call the I.R.S. on 1-215-516-6999 (with your appropriate international dialling code in front) and you will be given an EIN over the phone.
This process takes about 30 minutes. When you complete the Form SS-4, ensure that you let them know that you are a sole proprietorship, starting a new business (involved in marketing), have no employees,that your principal activity is retail and your principal line of merchandise is Nutritional Supplements.
The I.R.S. will also sendthe Tax ID No. to you in the mail - allow up to 2 months for it to arrive.
This process takes about 30 minutes. 3. How do you get a US street address?
If you do a Google search using the reference "US mail forwarding", you will find a number of firms that offer a US street address as well as forwarding your mail to you in whichever country you want it to go to. These companies charge a fee (3 month minimum) to have the account and then postage/ freight on top. This should be tax deductible, either in your own country or the US.Once you have set up your US address, you will probably need a "PS Form 1583" to allow your mail forwarding service to accept your mail from the United States Postal Service (USPS). This form and your identification needs to be verified by a NOTARY PUBLIC. If you don't have access to a notary, or a notary is too expensive, you may find a local official such as an attorney, government or bank official who can stamp the form. You can usually find a notary in the local US consulate or embassy.
My upline Director has also mentioned that Mail Boxes Etc. offers an excellent service of providing a mailbox and mail forwarding. Their website is http://www.mbe.com/ps/ms.html. I've set up with USA2me http://www.usa2me.com/site/default.aspx with my address being in Texas.
4. Will I have to pay US Tax?
As you will have a US Tax ID, the US govt (IRS) will expect you to lodge a return and pay tax if you owe anything.
Many countries have a exchange tax treaty with the US. This means that for non-Americans who earn income in the USA, the income that they earn will be taxed in the US but you then declare the income and the tax paid on your own tax return in your own country. You should only have to pay extra tax if the US tax rate is less than the tax rate you have to pay in your own country.
Check with your accountant to see if your country has this exchange tax treaty.

5. Do I need to have a US bank account or is there some other way of getting paid by TriVita?
No. You do not need a bank account as the Company will issue you with a Visa Debit Card that you can withdraw cash out of any ATM around the world that accepts Visa.If you ever go to the US, you are able to open an account, and then you can set up Direct Deposit as an alternate arrangement.
6. Would I still have to order the $40 minimum monthly product as TriVita does not ship overseas?
Yes. TriVita will send your product order to the US street address that you obtained in step 3. Your US mail forwarding firm will be able to forward your order to your own country address. 7. Can I actively build the business and gain Business Associates within my team even though I am not in the US?
Yes. There are 2 excellent ways of doing this besides having to talk to people about it on different forums, or sharing the concept with your family and friends (which I hate doing unless they raise the topic).
If they are not from North America, then they will need to follow Steps 2 & 3 above.
A. TriVita informs all customers of the opportunity of becoming Affiliate Members and if they join, they will become part of your team.
B. TriVita is developing a lead programme aimed at people who have registered an interest in developing a 'work from home' business.

8. Can I have my local phone number on my replicated websites?
No. TriVita does not recognize any Affiliate Member as being from outside of the USA or Canada. That is why you must be a "US Entity".You must have a US phone number. TriVita's website software is only calibrated to accept US/Canadian phone numbers. (Different number of digits to overseas numbers.) PLUS all address details (billing & Mailing) must be US addresses.
9. Where can I get a US phone number?
A couple of sites that can help with a US phone number are http://www.kall8.com and http://www.jetnumbers.com.
Alternately, you might look at getting a US number through Skype http://www.skype.com/intl/en utilizing the Internet for your calls. A SkypeIn number is perfect if you have friends, family or business colleagues that don't use Skype. Anyone can dial your personal SkypeIn number from a phone or mobile and hey presto, your Skype rings and you pick up the call - wherever you are in the world - and the caller only pays standard local rates to call you and not international rates.
Using Skype will allow International Affiliate Members to talk inexpensively with their US/Canadian upline, or any of their team members from North America.
Alternately, you might look at getting a US number through Skype http://www.skype.com/intl/en utilizing the Internet for your calls. A SkypeIn number is perfect if you have friends, family or business colleagues that don't use Skype. Anyone can dial your personal SkypeIn number from a phone or mobile and hey presto, your Skype rings and you pick up the call - wherever you are in the world - and the caller only pays standard local rates to call you and not international rates.
Using Skype will allow International Affiliate Members to talk inexpensively with their US/Canadian upline, or any of their team members from North America.
10. If I need help from the TriVita Affiliate Member Services, could I contact them, let them know that I am from overseas?
No. If you contact Affiliate Member Services, only give them your name and your TriVita 8 digit ID number (and your US street address, if needed). Talk to your upline Affiliate Member/ Director first before even thinking of talking to TriVita Affiliate Member Services. Not everyone in Affiliate Member Services knows about International sign-ups at this stage. 11. Can I contact people outside USA or Canada to build my business?
One of my upline Directors gave me this advice when I first joined the business in Jan '08.
"If you are going to advertise and promote TriVita in order to grow your business, please be very careful. You cannot advertise that it's available outside of the U.S. or Canada. I would recommend that you contact people that you know personally or have been involved in businesses in the past if they are outside of the U.S. and Canada. We just cannot promote that this is a worldwide opportunity per the companies' terms and conditions. You can of course contact people you know but when it comes to online forums and advertising online, this is where we must use a lot of caution."
Now, I let people from outside North America know that they can build a TriVita business from anywhere but their business is being built solely with USA/Canadian customers, and that TriVita does not ship outside North America. We can get our products as our order goes to our US mail forwarding address.

12. Can I apply in a Business Name...OR... do I have to be myself?
You can choose how you want to register. Either way you need a US Tax ID Number that matches the name you used and a US Street Address. If you decided to register as a Business Entity, you will need to send your Business registration papers in to TriVita's Affiliate Member Services along with your paper application form.
