My first sprinkling of angel dust on your trophy wife lens has long worn off so I am back once again to scatter a little more. It is my quest this week to re-bless some of the lenses which I blessed way back in 2010. Your lens is on this list.

The title of this lens kept me away for a while. When I finally decided to take the plunge and have a look, I was prepared to be offended by your male-chauvinistic viewpoint. So glad I WAS WRONG! This is a very sweet tribute done with love and humor. All the best to both of you ...

Wow. Nice lens. (But I think I also got a "Trophy Wife" :-) Any gal who will pick up a large Komodo-dragon like lizard and drape it over her shoulder to pose for a picture is MY kind of gal! I've liked, favorited, thumbs-upped, and lensrolled your masterpiece to my lenses on relationships. Congrats on a great job!

of my sincere love for her with a single rose though out the year.
Try it tonight on the way home from work.

  • windygig Sep 17, 2010 @ 9:32 pm | delete
Awesome, funny and photo-spectacular. Women often use "trophy wife" with sympathy for the first nice lady he ditched, so I LOVE the way you use it. You three all all "trophies."
  • Ramkitten Nov 24, 2009 @ 9:04 am | delete
At first, I was like, trophy wife? I thought it was a negative term. But then I looked through your lens and realize how it was meant. I sure wouldn't mind my husband making a lens like this about (for) me!
  • alteredkat Oct 20, 2009 @ 8:06 pm | delete
Cute lens! :o) Love the sleeping with pets...the trinkets and shoes bit! LOL
Very cool! Thanks for sharing - T'was enjoyable! 5*

Great story! Funny thing about shoes. Keep it up.
  • windygig Sep 17, 2010 @ 9:34 pm | delete
Super photgraphically and wittily awesome how you treasure that "trophy." Mostly, women use it to refer to the interloper with sympathy to the nice lady he ditched. So the way you used it made me laugh out loud.

I just had to visit again--I was just talking about how I enjoyed the love here. I truly think your wife believes she has a trophy husband as well!
I think I'll have to drop by and see how my favorite sheep are doing while I'm in the neighborhood.

  • sittonbull Apr 21, 2009 @ 11:22 am | delete
Paul, I try to read everything my friend Keem suggests and have yet to be disappointed! You got your trophy wife in much the same way I got mine! I think the shoes were the coup'd gras!
  • chefkeem Apr 17, 2009 @ 10:23 pm | delete
Your wife might be superior to you in style, spirit, social station or intellect - but you have certainly much more...um...er...oh, yeah - weight! Unique love letter, Paul. 5* plus...
  • Shelly Mar 21, 2009 @ 3:41 pm | delete
This is just wonderful--everyone enjoys a love story in any form. This is also a lady with an amazing sense of humor to match yours! You must have a lot of laughter in your home. You have a unique way of presenting a trophy wife with no negative connotations--how do you do that? The secret if love, isn't it? I also observe with the shoes, that there are no low back issues--heels are the first to go.
