Created by LifeWay Christian Resources, True Love Waits is designed to encourage moral purity by adhering to biblical principles. This youth-based international campaign utilizes positive peer pressure by encouraging those who make a commitment to refrain from pre-marital sex to challenge their peers to do the same. It is taught in many places around the world.

For me...True Love Waited!

I took the True Love Waits pledge as a high school student. I am proud to say that both my husband, Ben, and I waited until our wedding and we were married at the age of 28!!

    Well, I understand that unwanted teenage pregnancies are a big issue in sevral countries of the world. In certain nations like India girls are married off at a tender age. Ofcourse in urban areas teenage pregnancies r on the rise in India too.

    As for me - I don't believe in marriage so the question of abstinence before marriage doesn't make sense. Yes one should have sex responsibly and use contraceptives to prevent unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.
