You probably know about the Undated 20p coins in circulation but..

Did you know they could be a great future investment also? They could be worth loads in years to come, as the numbers get lower, obviouslly, the price will get higher, i currently have my genuine undated 20p coin on ebay, £120 starting bid, and a £250 buy out, in my eyes, this is cheap as chips for coin collectors, seeing as though one of the coins sold for £8000, yes EIGHT THOUSAND POUNDS FOR 20 PENCE, i know, but imagine how much these will cost in years to come.... check out my auction and see what you think..

Other than waiting to see what happens, i will be keeping updates on information with these 20p coins, what the mint is doing wth them, how many people have them, and keeping track of the prices on ebay. I will update soon

Fake ones sold on ebay

Obviouslly, there are some people trying to take advantage of the 20p mess up, there are ways to notice which are real or not apparently, i came across this http://www.undated20p.com/identification.html , check it out, and check all of your 20 pence peices hah.
A lot of people are being fooled about the "undated 20p" on ebay, People are selling "UNDATED 20P RARE", 9 times out of 10 it is going to be undated on one side, do not be tempted to risk it, You will not get your money back, due to you bought what you saw. Either the seller has several pictures of their undated 20p/Video/Some sort of PROOF and confirmation, or do not buy it.

Current prices...

The current prices of the undated 20p coins are on a low at the moment, on ebay the average price is around £70-£120, i suppose they started higher due to the initial frenzy of the whole "Wow get rich from 20p" kind of frenzy. I have noticed a fair few more popping up on ebay which gives me the feeling that people are panicking about losing out on money, and selling them due to they think they will drop down in price even more, i doubt they will get any cheaper, once the initial frenzy is over and dies down i believe the price will rise alot higher, up to around £800, possibly thousands, people are thinking "All the coin collectors will now have one", there are MILLIONS of coin collectors, and in 10 years time, theres going to be a lot more, theres a forever growing number of coin collectors, which will all be wanting one of these 'mule' coins, i suggest keeping a tight grip on this coin, protecting it in a coin case/bag, stashing it somewhere safe and just forget about it for a few years then check the price again (that is if you do not need the money desperately ofcourse.).
Do not be fooled by the price drop....Coin collecting is not called "The hobby of kings" for no reason.
