"Twilight" Halloween Party Ideas and Resources

Halloween is one of the most Popular times of the year. We love to dress up, and to Party.....so this year if you are planning a themed party you're not alone. A lot of people will be having a Twilight Themed Party for Halloween and for Birthdays, so why not make yours special. I have tried to put some resources together for things you might want for your party.

Food, Games, Music, and Decorations are the main things, but you might also be looking for little trinkets for Goodie Bags. We have those too. Look at some of the Twilight Books, and make notes of the things you might want to include in your Party. The Bottom line is to make your Twilight Theme Party stand out from the others, and to have fun. If you are having a Vampire Party remember some people don't like dancing, and some might be a little afraid of scary things, everyone is different. So keep your guestlist in mind when planning activities.

Another tip is to try to invite people that have actually read the books, that way they will be able to fully participate especially if everyone is talking about a certain character, or you are playing a Trivia game with questions from the Books.

Drinks:

Mix and Match your food items, and remember your Guest List when preparing!

1) Red Kool Aid or Fruit Punch- you can "float" things in it, like Vampire Teeth (found at all discount stores)

2) Blood Shakes Make a regular Milkshake but add red coloring

3) 7-up or Sprite- you can add whatever you want...color it, or float things in it

Twilight Snacks

1) Red Apples are a Must! Red Carmel Apples are an option as well.

2) Cupcakes or a Big Cake Decorate with special Twilight Cake Toppers, or edible glitter. You can use any color cake mix you want, but a blood red one is good, and vanilla frosting that you add red food color to. Get it as deep red as you can. Use black, red, and white as your primary food color theme

3) Lollipops Heart shaped ones, or baseball ones....whatever you choose. You can make your own stickers for them, using your printer, and AVERY labels. Put names on them, and give one to each guest. If you don't want to make them, you can buy them.

4) Red and White Colored Chips Doritos come in Red and the Ranch Flavors are White. Throw these in a bowl.....and you can have a colored dip to compliment your theme.

5) Red Gummie Snacks You can find different ones to compliment one of the Books, and just put them around the room in small bowls by a candle, or anywhere your guests will mingle. Adults don't seem to be as fond of Gummies as younger people.

6) Any mix of red and black candies

Dinner

Italian would be a good choice if you are serving Dinner use Black Plastic Ware and Red Plates for Bella's meal of Mushroom Ravioli but you can do any Italian-remember the Cullens attempted to make Italian food for Bella when she visited their home.

Tip: You can take a picture of you or whomever the party is for with the big cutouts (or any Twilight Picture) and most bakeries can put the picture onto a cake (totally edible). Check with your nearby Bakery.
