Twitter can also be classified as content sharing.

Twitter is a micro blogging site. It takes time to set up your Blog, but not with Twitter. it is easy to set up and it is FREE. You share with others what you are doing. You will want to offer value so those in your field .

Writing an article for your blog, squidoo, hub, ezine article may take you several hours to write, but a tweet on twitter takes a couple of minutes. It is so quick and easy, and is fun.

Twitter is a great tool to use to market what ever you have to offer. People will follow you if they see you have value to offer them.

You can only follow 2000 people, so you may want to delate the ones that don't follow you. Be sure and keep the ones you enjoy learning from, even if they don't follow you.

I also delate people that have a lot of daily posts that are of no interest to me.

When you are logged into Twitter you will be asked what are you doing. You reply to the question in only 140 characters. When you write something it is called a Twett.

Twitter is a good place to brand yourself. Be sure and use your own name. You want to keep your name in front of people. This way people can learn about what you have to offer.

You will also need to add your picture, not some image. Besides that, it is very important to add a link to where you want to send people. This is a perfect place to link to your blog or your personal website.

Twitter is also a wonderful place to tell others about a new blog post or a new squidoo lens, and other social sites.

I kept hearing about Twitter, and after awhile I was wondering, OK, just what is this new social site all about.

You are going to want to follow people that have the same interest that you do. You can learn a lot from them.

Building your business is a numbers game and you want to add as many people to your list as possible. Some of those people will choose to follow you.

Also check out their friends. You will also find a lot of other people to follow.

If you want have success in using Twitter, you need to leave comments.That will help you to brand yourself.

When you leave a comment, it must be about what the author is talking about. If you are talking about something different and are trying to promote yourself it can be called spam.

A great tool to use to find people is To Find People

If you know of people that have the same interests that you do use this tool to try and locate them.

This search tool is also found on your Twitter site.

Remember to also check out the people following them. Besides looking for people you can also type in whatever you may be interested in. Like attraction marketing, network marketing, online business or what ever you are looking for.

Most of the time you want to give people information on what they are interested in. When you offer a lot of value, people will want to follow you. Don't make a lot of tweets that are always trying to send people to a site of yours to buy something.

Be a servant and offer value to others. The more value you give the more you will receive.

Try and add a new Tweet daily. It is important to be consistent.

When you make a post on your blog or another place be sure and do a Twett and give a link so your followers can check it out.
