Types of Terriers - Which One Is The Most Lovable?
There are many types of terriers in the world. This lens is going to discuss about the many different types of terriers and what they are.
In the past, the terrier is bred for hunting and killing vermin. Even if they are smaller sized dogs, they are still very brave and tough yet with a lively and energetic characteristic.
There are more than 50 different types of terrier breeds in the world today. They are being categorized into three different group types of terrier - working/hunting, companion and fighting.
Working/hunting types of terriers are used to search for and track quarry. Both the Jack Russell and the Old English are just some of the terrier breeds.
Companion types of terriers are bred down from larger terriers types. So they are small but they are the true terrier breed with the true terrier characteristics. English Toy Terrier and the Norwich Terrier are some of the examples of this breed.
Fighting types of terriers are true fighting dogs used in (normally illegal) dog fights. They are Staffordshire Bull and the American Pit-Bull.
Although they are energetic and lively dogs, their sizes ranges from fairly small to the grand size of the Airedale Terrier.
But out of all these types of terriers, I am still fond of the Boston Terrier. They are very lovable and well-mannered. They are an absolutely great companions to families.
However, I still run into the trouble of conducting a boston terrier training initially until I am so frustrated and searched for tips on training it.
