Many years ago a businessman with capital and a swimwear designer with a dream came together and created what is now known worldwide as Ujena Swimwear. That was 1984 and the vision came from Bob Anderson, CEO and founder of Ujena.

Since that time, Ujena a family owed business, has custom fit over one million customers, been credited with creating the now common craze, Mix and Match Swimwear and traveled the globe photographing some of the world's most beautiful swimwear models in locations such as Tahiti, Cuba, Prague, Monte Carlo, Greece, Italy, Australia, Puerto Vallarta, Spain, San Francisco, Rio de Janeiro, Paris, Kenya, Portugal and Bahamas to name a few. Ujena's chief photographer Bob Anderson has photographed over 500 bikini models all over the world. He has taken over one million images of models in Ujena swimwear and fashion.

Today, Ujena offers one of the largest selections of swimwear in the world and is one of the few major swimwear companies to still manufacture its products in the United States. For the past fifteen years Bob Anderson has teamed with his daughter Lisa Anderson-Wall president of Ujena Swimwear to form one of the most successful father/daughter ownership teams in the swimwear industry.

Several years ago other family members have been brought into the company. Lisa's husband, Justin Wall is Ujena's Sales Director and has developed a very strong network of dealers around the world. Catherine Cross, Bob's mate of 14 years, is Ujena's Director of Public Relations and in charge of Customer Service. She has brought a lot of national attention to Ujena recently including getting Ujena on the Cover of FHM, Maxim en espanol has features over 30 pages annually and Teen Vogue just to name a few.

Besides family members some key people have joined the Ujena Team including Waitman Gobble, Ujena Webmaster, and Trisha Tompkins, staff models and promotions, and Maria Perez, director of manufacturing just to name a few.

Ujena has been successful by bringing new ideas into the very crowded marketplace. The design department continues to release new exciting product on a regular basis. We have also developed some new exciting marketing programs such as the Fashion Show Viewer, Model and Photographer Scholarship Program and a Model and Photography Networking site.

In addition, Bob Anderson founded the Ujena Jam (formerly Ujena Bikini Jam): a live event where models, photographers and partner companies come together to take great photos, cast and network.
